Marktgasse Hotel, Zürich

I had a quick stopover in Zurich before getting on a river cruise. This hotel is situated in a perfect location in Old Town. You can easily walk to several quaint restaurants, bars and shops in less than 5 minutes plus it's accessible by taxi for getting to/from the airport. The hotel is charming and comfortable and the staff speaks English and always at your service. I included breakfast which was very good. I recommend this hotel and would defitely stay there again.

Hotel is a great central location in Old Town. The service was amazing and very clean. Added perk isn’t the air conditioning - most hotels in Old Town do not have air conditioning. I would recommend booking the junior suite with private terrace it hasn’t amazing views of the city.

We are repeat customers to Marktgasse. We love the friendly staff, the modern chic decor, and comfortable rooms. They have a lovely lobby with Nespresso and teas to enjoy. The beds are comfortable and the decor relaxing. They also supply Aesop products. The surrounding area is wonderful and perfectly located in/near The Old Town. We will continue to stay here whenever we come through Zurich!

I would happily stay here again. This hotel is in the heart of Zurich, very close to many restaurants, museums and the train station. The reception staff was gracious and warm. The rooms were comfortable and clean. They provide guests with Aesop bath products, as well, which is a nice treat after long hours of travel. The library was a nice place to get some quiet work done.

Extremely good location, and the rooms were high quality and there's a joining Cafe and adjoining bar all very good quality. If you want to visit Zurich and walk around and view the city center this is an excellent place to do it. We will definitely come back to this hotel when we visit Zurich again.
