What a fantastic gem to find in Birmingham! Beautiful lobby, delicious food, a spa and convenience. But as always, when traveling, it’s the staff that make the difference. From being greeted so nicely when I arrived to the front desk staff providing smiles and laughs, to going above and beyond to meet any requests, I found the staff to be outstanding. Would happily stay here again.

Our stay at the Grand Bohemian hotel in Mountain Brook, Alabama was exceptional from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted by valets who were friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming, and provided a seamless check in experience. Taking the elevator up to our room, our porter pointed out that access to guest rooms are secured by a valid room card, and access throughout the hotel is secured in this fashion, giving us peace of mind throughout our stay. Our room on the third floor was well-appointed, and had easy access to the Habitat restaurant in the hotel, which was a treat in its own right. The variety and interesting menu options gave this restaurant an intriguing option for dining, and the staff were superb. In addition to our extremely comfortable and well decorated room, the bathroom was a pure delight with instant hot water, plenty of fresh towels, a well planned layout, and a built in ledge in the shower that my wife greatly appreciated. The housekeeping staff were extraordinary as well, providing daily service and extra water and a turn down service with chocolates in the evening. It’s also worth mentioning the hotel hosts an exquisite art gallery and also a spa on the ground floor that are well worth a visit. Truly a first class hotel in a first class area.
