Absolutely amazing and stunning property. The staff provided some of the BEST service by far! Property was very clean and the food was amazing. The location is not in the most favourable neighbourhood but it was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend staying here.

We loved this hotel. Beautiful, wonderful outdoor areas, great pool, tennis courts, playground and the gym was pretty good. Breakfast and food services were also really good. We had a great time staying at the hotel. The location was also very convenient

This hotel should be a destination on its own, it’s an oasis of peace and tranquility in the city. Beautiful colonial building, fantastic room, lush green gardens and lovely facilities. Absolutely loved it.

This historic hotel was a real home away from home is over 100 years old is like a giant hasienda of Shanish design having many palm covered courtyards, a pool also shading one from 100 degree heat made it very comfortable. Its abundantly beauty makes it an event setting. Wedding pivctures were taken in the courtyard just outside our room’s door. Though rooms are accessed through open courtyards, all other inner spaces are well A/C. It has a clay tennis court and many locations for meetings comfortably outside. Breakfast was not very good. Our room was tight, having a 16 foot ceiling that was the means of handling high temps in earlier years. The A/C worked well. Due to vegetation, mosquitoes were present. Then I discovered a plug in device into which a small “Raid” card is placed. No more mosquitos and no odor. We greatly enjoyed our time in this well maintained historic hotel!

It is one of Asunción’s oldest hotels. Located in a quiet neighbourhood. Many of the staff have been there a while and recognise return guests. They are very kind and helpful. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings, air on and tv’s. Nice hot showers and great WiFi coverage throughout the hotel. Last but not least, they provide a fabulous breakfast. GHP is my go to place when I visit Asunción.

First of all, the check-in process was terrible : the man that checked me in insisted that I needed to pay for the hotel room (I told him that I already paid through hotels.com months ago when I booked for the room) , but he kept saying at least 3 times that I hadn't made the payment. I asked him to check my booking and he immediately said "I already did & you haven't paid". Finally the manager checked my booking and sure enough it showed that I already made a full payment on my stay. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with colonial architecture & lush trees and plants everywhere. Unfortunately, the room and bathroom do not look good as the general area of the hotel - the mattress is hard and concaved, the floor is dusty, the wall has stains, the bathroom is not very clean. Breakfast was adequate, it is buffet style with assortments of hot & cold foods. The location is away from the city center, but Uber is plentiful. I would not stay here again if I was ever in Asuncion again.

Trata-se de um hotel colonial com belíssimas instalações e muito charme. A equipe de funcionários e muito gentil e prestativa, sempre disposta a ajudar e agradar ao cliente. Desde a chegada, permitiram-nos fazer check-in antecipado, o que foi excelente depois de uma viagem de 17 horas. Os quartos são espaçosos, a cama é muito confortável e o banheiro é completo. O café da manhã é muito bom e ainda servem almoço por USD10,00/pessoa em esquema self service. Os preços cobrados no restaurante também são honestos. Enfim, foi o melhor hotel de uma viagem de 25 dias pela América do Sul. Quero voltar.
