Wonderful stay in Ouray

We had a wonderful time in Ouray. The lodge is conveniently located near town and trails. You can pretty much walk everywhere…if you are a walker. The lodge is a little outdated but it was clean. The hot springs and vapor cave is nice.

A most enjoyable place in Ouray!

Wonderful place. Enjoyed the Hot Pools immensely. so soothing, so many choices. The location is quiet and ideally located with a wonderful environmental mountainous setting. Food was very good. We plan on returning for more exciting experiences.

Went here for our anniversary. The room is nice enough. A small table to eat at would have been pleasant and fit well in the space, especially since they offer room service / delivery from their restaurant. Breakfast and the restaurant were yummy. The pools were GREAT! My only real complaint was we spent $1000 for a weekend and they nickel and dimed for robes and water bottles in the room. I brought my own robe, and never touched the second robe, but they charged us for it anyway. Still, when I pointed it out they fixed it right away. Seemed like an unnecessary unhappiness for what was an otherwise pleasant stay… but also seems unnecessary to charge hotel guests for the use of robes when they are already charged a resort fee. Feels like robe charges should be reserved for day guests. One wonders what the “resort fee” is then actually for, but I often find it comical how some hotels who are clearly not resorts (this one is) get away with this charge.
