Imogene Race Weekend - Great Stay
I've read mixed reviews of the Inn but our stay went beautifully. It was a warm weekend but the room came with a window fan and this met our needs perfectly. No issues with noise. I found the bed to be "ok" but the room was cute and basic amenities available (although would recommend a change to the coffee - it's either old or not a great brand/did not make for a good cup of coffee). Location is amazing and front desk helpful with recommendations and parking. Overall, great stay for us!

Clean, and well kept. Had it not been so hot outside, the room and stay would have been excellent. However, the room did not have air conditioning so we had to keep the windows open - which, quite frankly, wasn't the greatest experience due to street noise. In cooler/cold weather, it would be a GREAT place to stay.

OK, I guess.
Ok. Clean, spartan room, window handle broken couldn't shut the window. The wall temperature regulator was broken in room103, couldn't add any heat. No extra blanket. It would have been helpful if the office had info about local restaurants, they had none! Breakfast items were not laid out according to usage, bowls not by cereal, utensils another place, instead of going in a systemic way to get food you had to cross back and forth. Location is great, parking miserable.

Met the minimum requirements but did not impress
The lady working behind the front counter was not very inviting and didn't really do anything other than give me a room key and direct me to my room. Didn't explain anything about the place or its amenities. The floorboards on one side of the bed, were very warped and creaky. The room was HOT as there was no air conditioning, so we did not sleep comfortably. It was a place to spend the night, but it didn't impress.

Do your research. No A/C. I’d pass if doing over.
Informed the hotel that I was booking the night before a 7 day bike trip. They did not inform me that they didn’t allow bikes in the room. They wanted me to use their bike racks for my bike, in the rain, and didn’t provide a lock. I ended up waiting until the front desk was vacated and carrying my bike upstairs. The room was filled with bugs. Not in the bed, but flying around everywhere. Also…NO A/C. It was so hot that I laid there awake with bugs flying around and landing on me all night. Had to keep windows open, but people are everywhere talking and yelling outside your window. It’s a popular area with lots going on. Can’t close the window or you’ll fry. The outside was nice. The breakfast offering was decent. The girl who initially worked the front desk was nice, but the guy who was there later was kinda rude. I would give this place a 2 out of 10.

Define AC
The Inn was an acceptable lodging - EXCEPT prior to booking I verified if there was air conditioning or not. I was told there was. i do not book anywhere without AC. Our definitions differed a lot I guess. There were some type of window fans that did little to cool room day or night. it would have been better if we could have slept with windows open and oscillating and large ceiling fans. Beds and sheets and towels fine. pillows uncomfortable to me. So we did not sleep well at all due to the poor cooling of the room.
