Beautiful setting on the golf course with a decent restaurant on premises. Way understaffed at the restaurant so we waited forever for our table and food although everyone was accommodating and bringing their best to a bad situation. The restaurant could be a real gem but has terrible lighting (like a funeral parlor, so dark and dingy) which ruins the ambience. Hire some additional servers and install some decent lightning and you're 90% there.

This hotel is extremely OLD as in not renovated. Every piece of furniture had nicks all over. The only thing that looked good was the bed furnishings-mthey were modern. The air conditioning was good and looked much newer. I was very disappointed—especially based on the price. It was about $250 with the tax and resort fees added on. We ended up leaving day early. The only resort benefit we used was the WiFi.

The staff was extremely welcoming. The landscape is absolutely beautiful. The Spa is in walking distance and the staff there is amazing. Very pleasant and professional with a variety of treatments available. The outdoor swimming pool is a little small for a resort but there is a cabana and outdoor bar poolside also there is an indoor swimming pool and hot tub on the lower level of the hotel. If you are a golfer it’s a fantastic course to play however for those of us who don’t golf the amenities are limited. At the resort itself. However it is extremely clean with nice size bathrooms and comfortable beds. There is a lot of construction in the area that will bring new attractions the lake is just about a mile away from the resort. We had a great experience and highly recommend Old Kinderhook.

The rooms and whole hotel are very dated and drab. Furniture was old and had scratched. I asked for a better room and the staff arranged one for us. The second room was better but still very dated. We had confirmed dinner reservations at their nice restaurant but were told there were no tables available in the dining room. We were told we could sit at the bar. I do not recommend and would not stay here again.
