Very well located inside the souq (though that means a car cannot drop you off at the front door). Great locale, close to restaurants, everything walkable. The bedroom was great, but just a little small - or maybe the bed was too big. Staff were very nice. I would stay there again!

The hotel is in the middle of a historical part of Dubai. It is also near Dubai Creek and an "aura" ride across to the Gold Souk. I really loved the cafe, where you could have a refreshing lime mint drink or watermelon juice drink. The room I stayed in was cute and perfect for my needs. The fruit plate was a perfect welcome gift. I wish I had stayed longer.

Everything is thoughtful & welcoming about this artistically exquisite gem in an historic neighborhood in Dubai! The Staff members are so genuine & kind. The gallery is first class & features top contemporary artists from the region- staffed by knowledgeable artists. I participated in an evening rooftop tea ceremony & yoga+gong session hosted by one of the top herbalist+ yoga instructors in Dubai. I’m so grateful for this heartwarming experience & the unexpected friendships I made during my stay at XVA. I truly felt I was visiting with family & dear friends throughout my stay.

Excellent, charming hotel. Wonderful experience. The only issue was that the taxi driver was unable to find it. To get there from the main road at 1AM was challenging. Small streets are like a maze the first time you walk. Daytime is no problem, and if you walk a few times, there's no issue. Better signage at the taxi drop-off point would be helpful.

The room had several issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The door used an unusual lock system with latches on the outside, which created an unsafe feeling of get locked inside. The AC and TV remotes didn’t function properly, especially the volume controls. The shower relied on a gas heater, making the water temperature difficult to regulate, and the drain didn’t flow well, causing the entire bathroom to flood during use. At night, constant dripping sounds from the toilet and shower made it hard to sleep. Overall, the room needs significant changes.

This is one of the few properties in Dubai where you can stay right in the middle of the historic district and walk to the textile, spice and gold souks. It is a wonder boutique hotel with unique rooms, great food and delightful, friendly service.

A Beautiful Traditional Stay in Dubai's Old Town
XVA Art Hotel is a stunning example of traditional Arabian architecture, located in the heart of the old town. The atmosphere is charming and full of character, making it a hotspot for tourists.
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. One thoughtful touch is that the hotel provides a shower room for guests with late flights, which is really convenient. If I visit Dubai again, I will definitely stay here again!

I really wanted a more Arabic experience on this trip to Dubai. I could not have been more pleased. The staff couldn’t do enough for me. The location is perfect for a quiet 90min walk at night. I had a single room, small but comfortable. I needed to be in the main bar area for WiFi to work but it was no issue and the staff kept the tea coming. Brilliant. Can’t wait to go back.

Das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr hoch. Wie in Arabien üblich. Ich fühlte mich sehr geborgen, nicht wie in Dubai mit den großen luxuriösen hotels.
