Good Value
The location is quite convenient to shopping, dining and public transportation. The room is large and clean and the handy device is a plus.

A long week!
Great location I’ve stayed at several times. One week stay in smallest room I’ve had in Hong Kong over the years. Bed springs pushing through top of mattress. No room for a small chair. No room to put my small roller board suitcase. Will shop smarter and harder next time

Strategic Location near Yau Ma Tei Station Exit C
M1 Yau Ma Tei is very centrally located, you can walk to Kowloon Area where the sneakers shop - ladies market and also temple street market is located. Lots of food nearby and definitely lots of shopping which HK is famous for. To get there you simply take the Yau Ma Tei Station MTR and go for exit C, The hotel is right around the corner. All said on the location- the room itself is quite small but still ok. the one thing I wasnt happy is the bed. It was very hard to sleep on. which is not comfortable. other than that, everything else was good.

Great for a short stay
This depends on your needs. We were traveling as a family (along with our 2-yr-old daughter) and we were processed into the hotel promptly, which was appreciated. The cool air wasn't fully on when we walked in the room, so we had to turn it on higher (no big deal). The bed was firm, but smaller than a standard full-size. It was clean. It was close to the MTR. It offered local newspapers. It's great for a short-term stay. It included a few toiletries and had a small refrigerator. There was NO WI-FI in the rooms. Instead each room had installed a cell-phone that you can use. We also couldn't figure out the safe. All in all, however, this place was just fine for us for the short time we were there. .

Nice, compact hotel.
Well run and well kept hotel with a friendly and efficient staff. The room was unexpectedly small, I feel that the hotels.com website made the rooms look larger. While the hotel's wifi was slow, there is a "Handy mobile device" which one is able to use as a wifi hotspot in the room, and out and about in Hong Kong. The room was clean, and well serviced daily. The front desk staff was helpful with any questions.

M1 Yau Ma Tei Hotel
The room is so tiny and not as accurate as it shows in the pic at hotel.com, it’s more spacious and probably they used the wide angel camera to take it. The room is so tiny and not enough room to open luggages, the room size should be only fit no more than 1 person. Also, toilet can’t flush, and it’s rusty in the bathroom, with no tub and just a standing shower with a curtain. The customer service in the lobby were not friendly at all when doing the Checkin and out. Housekeeping is fine. However need to give a star to the location and it’s close to MTR and very convenience location to the city. Lastly, it’s very unpleasant that stores next door ( both left and right side) are selling coffins(creepy) and recyling papers (stinky) ...

Good choice for budget-minded business Traveler
Staff was excellent helping with every small details that I might have needed. Even upgraded the size of the room and no extra charge. Extremely convenient to the MTR and the Temple Street Market with all of its array of restaurants as well as choices on Nathan Road only a block away
