We had a great time at Le Dortoir in Nice. Very well located and a chic place to stay.

Lovely clean room, everything worked well, the suite itself was very spacious, we particularly enjoyed the terrace. The Hammam/shower was fantastic and the bath was very relaxing. Staff were very helpful, helped us with our bags and booked us a transfer for our departure. Great location near lots of good restaurants, short walk to the tram and the train station and walking distance to most of the main attractions including the old town markets. We had a hire car on arrival and parked in an underground car park 5 mins walk away, there are several options in the area.

6/10 Good

The hotel was a bit hard to find originally, with no real sign. The location was ideal for the beach and a few minute walk away from old Nice markets/restaurants. The bathroom was spacious yet a design flaw of the shower door led to water all over the bathroom floor. My one complaint is I had no access to WiFi the entire time.

Perfect location - close to beach, old Nice, shopping and restaurants. Excellent staff who were very helpful. Rooms are small but has everything you would need. Easy check in and out. Would for sure stay here again.

Room was small but to be expected. It was very nice and upgraded. Shower did not leak out into the floor like a lot of reviews stated. ac worked great! The only bad thing is that you could hear the rooms around you. Not talking but foot steps, doors closing, showers on and toilets being flushed so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear buds. Rooms start on the 4th floor but really that’s like 6 flights of steps thankfully the front desk worker literally took our suite cases up for us. If you want to use a beach towel it’s 5€ to rent which was kind of disappointing but for the price it’s really a nice and safe place to stay

If you are looking for a cross between living like a local and a polished hotel room, this is the place to book. A perfect hideaway for a short trip to Nice. Staff are very friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage prior to check in. The room was very clean and decorated to a high standard. A small fridge with filtered still/sparkling water and a nespresso machine was a nice touch too. Both replenished by the housekeeping team. We had a small balcony overlooking a piazza which was perfect for reading a book or people watching. Location was perfect, surrounded by shops and restaurants.

Perfect location. High standard modern rooms with powerful AC and soundproofing. We were located outside the buzzing restaurant and bar areas and you couldn’t hear it. Luxury rooms next to promenade. Great holiday. Brilliant staff. Highly recommended 10/10 for couples

We had a great stay, the room was very comfortable and had good quality amenities and a very comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Loved that we had a coffee machine and kettle to make tea. The bathroom finishes were high quality, a great shower and beautiful bathtub. The room had lots of light. It is located in a busy area with a bit of noise, but there is double glazing to tone the noise levels down a bit. Airconditioning worked well. Great location.

So much better than expected and this will become our go to place whenever we’re back in Nice, France! Excellent pricing, and comes with more amenities than you’d think and it’s located in the best area! Thank you so much for the stay, we had the best time! Yes, there are stairs and no lift, but this is common knowledge. But, honestly when you’re on holiday you’re out most of the time, so you only really climb up to your room like twice a day max anyway. 10/10, we will be back!

Excellent location. Room was very spacious, good ventilation and comfortable bed. Sauna and Hammam made it feel as luxury. Friendly staff.

8/10 Very good

Perfect location, great little room with excellent aircon, a great shower and hanging space with hangers. Toilet cubicle slightly small and enclosed, shower is very open (ok if you know your partner well!) and I knocked a star off as it was up 96 steep stairs which was exhausting a few times a day. Quite a few people were struggling to get large cases up and down.

The accommodation was exactly as shown in the photos. The room was very spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spotless. The location was extremely central, yet we had no issues with noise at all. Even though there was no elevator, the staff were very helpful with our luggage. We would definitely choose to stay here again when we come back.
