Very nice, large hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Our room needed blackout shades or curtains since it was mid-summer. The toilet ran after flushing at times.

Second stay here in a few weeks. One night on tour + one night self funded. Love that reception happy to let me stay in the same room despite different room types booked.
Comfortable room with mod-cons.
Very accomodating staff, great beer garden with excellent bar food and wine.
Except for the lack of blockout blinds in summer, can’t fault this hotel. Excellent!

Blackout curtain was way too light, so the room was still quite bright at 11pm. Bed was soft and not supportive. Breakfast was poor - really not up to standard for the price paid.

The hotel is convenient because of the pickup drop off for tours location. I loved the view from the Tower. The breakfast had a good variety of food. We were able to find shortcuts to the main road in the city and it was definately walkable.

This hotel was great. It has great views of the water and mountains from our room. The only con I have is that we had to park our rental car on the street and pay for street parking

Staff was good. Location was good, a pleasant walk to the center of town. Also nice to ride e-scooters if you’re able to. Street parking is very convenient if you can find it. All together a nice hotel. Nothing extravagant but will do just fine

This was such a great location, it was a 15 minute walk to “downtown” Reykjavik. There is a good hall nearby and the food from the hotel was decent (but expensive). Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
