Stay elsewhere
Shared bathrooms. Only one toilet per floor. Constantly occupied. Carpet looks like it’s from 1920s and has never been cleaned. Hallways smelled like piss. Lots of stairs (which are warped), no elevator. Room itself was better, minus no bathroom. Would not stay here again.

Good value hotel.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this hotel, I booked it because it was by far the cheapest that was close to the baseball stadium. I was really impressed. It has a definite old-school feel, but the room was freshly decorated and spotlessly clean. There are shared toilets and bathrooms on each floor, but again they were modern and frequently cleaned. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but perfectly comfortable. San Francisco is difficult for reasonably priced accommodation, but this is definitely the best value I have found.
