Check in was great, the gentleman at the desk very knowledgeable of the area and happy to provide us with some tips. While the room was clean and cute, this was the last night of our honeymoon and the room was unimpressive being its basically on the street with heavy traffic.

Wonderfully Comfortable Hotel

Such a wonderfully comfortable hotel from the lovely lobby with fireplace and large seating area and coffee, tea and hot coco and fresh cookies when you get in. The room was very comfortable and spacious and the location is ideal for walking the main shopping street in Mystic and to walk to the other attractions and water. Really lovely visit.

The best in Mystic. We stayed in one of the back buildings and it was wonderful. On our last visit we stayed in the Inn which is lovely. This is in the heart of town and you can walk everywhere. It is extremely clean and nicely decorated. We will always stay here on our visits to New England. And the restaurant/bar attached is wonderful.

Great location and friendly staff. Brian at the front desk took extra time covering the down town and surrounding area once he learned we were first time visitors to Mystic. His presentation was much appreciated .Amenities and cleanliness of rooms and lobby were superb.

Perfect location!

Our family trip to Mystic CT was not our first time there, but this was by far the best time ever! Mostly due to our stay at The Whalers Inn. From the start we were greeted at the front desk by a gracious and informative reception agent. Our room was immaculate and spacious. The location is ideal for walking to town and even the seaport. A few minutes ride to the Aquarium and Olde Mystic Village and it was perfect! Using Hotels.com made it easy to find the perfect place to stay!
Donna, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The shower was ridiculously small—2’ x 2’! You could barely turn around. We were in a ground floor room. Noise from cars was pretty annoying. Restaurant at hotel was great for dinner. Hotel is nicely appointed. It’s also in a great location.
Vicky, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Good spot for a short stay.

Great location with a nice restaurant and bar. Rooms and bathroom were a bit small. My husband and I kept hitting our knee against the wooden bed frame. Ouch! There were no mirrors in the room, only in the bathroom. This is not convenient for a couple getting dressed. Good for a short stay.

There is nothing my husband and I didn’t enjoy about our stay! The staff, cleanliness, room and amenities, the location, everything was beyond wonderful! We asked at the front desk when we’ll able to call to make the reservation for the same time next year. If you want to be right in the heart of Mystic and within walking distance to just about everything, this is your place! We will definitely be back next year.
Michalena, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Property in ok shape. Staff not overly helpful. Not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues as there are staircases to most rooms in the main house. My room faced the street and it was rather noisy.

The bed was incredible! It was like sleeping on a cloud! Soft pillows, too!
Pamela, 1-night trip

Room was beautiful. Comfortable and quiet. My husband did get cut on the ironing board but the staff provided bandages and antibiotic ointment.
