We stayed three nights at Borgo Mulino a Vento and everything was sensational. Impeccable service. Beautiful, well-maintained, romantic place. Excellent breakfast and dinner. We were very well attended to at dinner by Anna. The room is simpler than the common areas of the hotel, but in no way does it detract from the stay. The only drawback would be the size of the shower stall, which is very small. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Otranto. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

I have managed luxury hotels in Canada for over 35 years and this hotel was amazing. I did not expect such amazing grounds, room, pool, restaurant, breakfast, amenities and such amazing staff. We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We don’t usually choose half board but we are glad we did! The first night there was a buffet in the garden, of local food, this was the best buffet I have ever had, everything was so fresh and tasty and there was lots of vegetarian choice. We ate off the a la carte menu our other 2 nights, which again was amazing food, with lots of choice, as was breakfast. The pool area is lovely and the hotel is only a 10 minute drive to the lovely town of Otranto. We had a standard room, the only criticism is the bathroom could do with a bit of an update, the shower wasn’t great with poor pressure if you had it on warm. There was live music and dancing one night and we enjoyed the tour of the underground Oil Mill and Olive Oil Tasting which was provided by the hotel.

Me and my mother arrived to the resort at the end of the season in October when everything was calming down and it was such a treat for the soul to land here. Even if it was raining outside we felt like home and could still enjoy so much of the place. The staff were sweet and professional, the food so well done with their own grown vegetables and our bed very comfortable. Our last day we were sad to miss the breakfast (which was amazing) so they made of bags with our favorites to bring for our early flight. For me the gym was also a great plus. Hope to be able to return one day

We spent 5 nights there and were really impressed by the place. It was really clean, nicely kept and the staff were super friendly. The pool and the surrounding area was really beautiful. The breakfast was varied and good, the cappuccino was really good like you would get from a coffee place. We would like to mention Valentina by name who was really knowledgeable snd helpful about what to do in the surrounding area of Puglia, and what day trips to take and what we should see and visit.
