Very close and direct access to the beach which was very quiet - perfect for a couples getaway. Breakfast has lots of local fresh options, including fresh tropical fruit every day. Villas were clean and well maintained. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Staff were delightful and the room was very nice and well cleaned.
However, I can't move past the fact that the beach the property faces onto has a sewerage overflow from the property running across it, so it is not safe to swim l! The property also is sold as having water sports equipment available. All equipment was broken when I arrived and remained so for the length of my stay.

What a gem of a hotel in Samui. I found this place randomly on the internet and booked it because of the view and online ratings. I ended up has such amazing time here. The best thing about this property is the people. They are the best.

This was our favourite resort on our honeymoon. We absolutely loved the property, the sea front villa, and all the staff working there! Poy & Lek were amazing and went above and beyond for my husband who was sick. We are so grateful for them. We will definitely be coming back!!

A touch of class in a quiet location.
Fabulous stay at this hotel. I went there for my 60th birthday and it did not disappoint, The attention to detail that went into arranging the meal on the beach for my birthday was first class, my heartfelt thanks goes to Lek and the team for arranging this. It made my birthday memorable. The hotel is very welcoming and I would highly recommend

Sea Dance is an amazing place. We have traveled a lot, but have never experienced staff that was as helpful at the people at Sea Dance. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, the bungalows are beautiful, and the restaurant is very good. What an amazing place!

Amazing resort. Rooms and facilities were great with beautiful furnishings, lots of room, and eco-friendly. All the bases covered with towels for the pool / beach provided, kayaks and paddle boards available for free, selection of books to read. The pool area in particular was excellent with an amazing view out onto a private beach, food and bar options and great service. Would absolutely recommend to anyone travelling to Samui

Check in was smooth and easy. Had to carry bags quite a long way to the room. Ohm assisted us to our room and showed us the details of the resort. She was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was when we asked at checkin for a little later checkout. The man who checked us in very abruptly said “no, noon is the checkout time…we’re completely booked”. He said this without looking or letting him ask how much additional time we were wanting.

Very good experience.
The stay was really good. The room was cleaned really well everyday. Breakfast was AMAZING and they catered to all our needs including bringing out the mangoes whenever I wanted one. The iced coffee was BEAUTIFUL!!! Everything tasted fresh and I would definitely recommend for a muslim couple (all the chicken is halal). The lady at the front of the restaurant is one of the kindest people I have ever met (sorry I don’t remember her name).
The use of the kayaks was also a great feature.
Just as an improvement: in order for the hotel to be Muslim friendly, make the plunge pool area more private. I came with the intention of being able to use the pool however the neighbouring room could see into our pool so I didn’t get to use it. And also make the paths leading to the rooms brighter so everyone feels comfortable leaving their rooms after sunset.
Overall:
The hotel felt like a spa, an amazing place to switch off and rewind. With a few minor tweaks this would be a hotel I’d return to every single year. It’s close enough to shops but also set back enough and there was no outside noise.

A couple of hiccups, but great staff team!
I will start by saying that the customer service is really top notch! Unfortunately, there were two significant errors in connection to how the resort is presented on Hotels.com and at least one other website that are worth noting right away: 1) THERE IS NO ONSITE SPA. Apparently, this was discontinued sometime during COVID, but this booking site still lists it in detail. I came expecting to have a restful retreat and was very disappointed to learn on arrival that I would have to leave the resort for a spa. However, I will say the spa they recommended was excellent and provided transportation for me. 2) For Hotels.com status members it says you get roundtrip transport from the airport, which was apparently some miscommunication between the companies. After much runaround, the hotel did offer me this service that was in my booking. Hopefully, this has now been removed or otherwise corrected.
The property is lovely and tucked away. A small beach area & a bit rocky, but still nice. I found that it was generally very quiet and relaxing ambience. All the staff are extremely kind and do their best to be helpful. Villa 1 where I stayed is right next to the main resort pool and initially severely lacked privacy - when I brought this to their attention, they erected a bamboo fence the same day, so I could better enjoy my patio and pool area!!
The food is good, included breakfast suitable. Room service is offered at no additional cost - a bonus!

What an absolute Gem!!
I had a good feeling before I arrived, because of a couple of email exchanges with the resort. But I have never felt as welcomed as I was from Poy and the Sea Dance crew. This privately run hotel has the most wonderful people working there, who will do everything to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Special mention of course to Lek, who looks after the restaurant...such a delightful person with a wonderful smile and attitude. MANY thanks again Poy, I will endeavour to return as soon as possible
