Hotel is lovely. No sauna, despite the website!

The hotel is lovely. However they say on the website that they have a sauna. They do not have a sauna. Also, you are given the impression that you are staying in the big mansion, but actually you are billeted in the the annex/building in front of the big house. The rooms are modern and well appointed.

This hotel was amazing!! Very high end for the price! Vanessa was so helpful and friendly! Such a wonderful experience for 2 Americans visiting a foreign country. We were concerned about getting around and the language barrier but no issues at all. Surprisingly our reservation came with an hour in the spa and we used it soaking in the hot bath (jacuzzi without jets). The views were spectacular as well as breakfast. We didn’t want to leave!! This hotel is on our list to come back to if/when we return to France. Heartfelt thanks to Vanessa!!

Gorgeous views abound. Rooms were clean and comfortable, despite the heat. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had in Provence, making ample use of local alpine ingredients. It is also walking distance to old town Embrun, which was a nice touch.

La vitre était sale, des poils était au sol à notre l’arrivé. Il n’y avait pas d’accueil h24 alors qu’il y a 40 chambres. Pas de frigo ni de Clim dans la chambre. Le « spa » insalubre doit être « réservé » mais personne veille vraiment à qui a réserver à quelle heure…

Pas digne d’un 4 étoiles. Nous avions réservé une chambre standard, nous avons eu l’impression d’être logés dans une chambre « inférieur ». Moins de 10m2, une fois la valise posée par terre, impossible de bouger dans la chambre, une salle de bain/WC à peine aussi grande que dans un hôtel formule 1, avec une magnifique vue sur parking pour couronner le tout. À ce prix là c’est assez scandaleux, et vraiment pas du tout au niveau de ce que l’on attendrait.

Notre chambre( 111) était vraiment chaude, si petite qu'en ouvrant la porte, on touchait le lit avec et nous étions au sous sol: la salle des femmes (et hommes) de ménage était juste en face où ils tenaient "salon" dés 8h du matin ( adieu la grâce matinée !); +pour la rentrée de leurs affaires : impossible d'avoir l'ascenseur pendant 10mn. le soir comme il faisait très chaud, on était obligé d'ouvrir les fenêtres et on entendait la musique d'une discothèque( on suppose?) jusqu'à 11h45 avec des percutions pénibles ! Le desciptif ( climatisation) et la photo de la chambre( plus grande et joliment décorée) ne correspondent pas : on nous a répondu que l'hôtel ne pouvait afficher toutes les photos, nous ajoutons "et pour cause"! Au menu, toujours des suppléments, si bien que cela ne correspond pas au prix indiqué. Les choses mises dans la chambre sont toutes payantes!
