My favorite place for a quaint, clean room right on the "strip!" I come annually, and will be back.! Staff is especially nice, and the inn smelled so good.!

Close to boardwalk but no parking so you have to pay 15 extra dollars a day to park in 8 car parking lot so limited spots

Was a bit weary booking this hotel for a last minute trip but was pleasantly surprised! Cute little house looking hotel. Staff was extremely friendly, room was located right on the first floor. The room felt like staying in your grandmothers house. Small room but felt very clean the entire stay. Bed was comfortable and Roku on the tv. Bathroom was extremely small but worked as needed. You can definitely tell the owners try to make it as comfortable as possible for guests. Perfect location ! Would stay again.

Location was great. Was a charming place. I'm not too picky. But just like everything else in oc, it was unbelievably over priced. Nearly $350 for 1 night. Then we had to pay an additional $15 to park on the property. When we called to confirm the reservation, we had asked if there was parking on the property for hotel for guests and were told yes. Then once we get there, were informed we had to pay. Which, he didn't lie, lol. But, I wish we were told when asked.

Very vintage lol room was very clean looks old but covers and sheets were clean bathroom was small but overall a great room and literally a block away from boardwalk.

$43/night & we got what we paid for

Basic small room with a bed, chair, nightstand, mini fridge, TV, & bathroom. The whole building reeked of mothballs so that threw us off. The bed was uncomfortable & the air conditioner in the room was so dirty that it wasn’t even blowing cold air so our room was muggy and uncomfortable for sleep. On the plus side, we were close to the beach and the boardwalk.

The service was good, very friendly and fantastic location. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work but the room was clean. You will need to pay for parking, it’s not free. Overall great experience. We stayed for 1 night.

I'm glad I made the right choice by choosing Surf Villa Hotel. It's a quaint & cute B&B- like with a very hospitable, warm, courteous and helpful owner who goes the extra mile to ensure all the guests receive the best service during their stay. You can walk to the boardwalk and the beach from this property in less than 3 mins. The reasonably priced room itself are very well maintained and clean. I will definitely return here!!! To the owner of Surf Villa Hotel; Thank you for making my visit to Ocean City,MD so memorable. God bless.

Overall, great experience. Manager was extremely pleasant and room was clean. Bad: TV would not stay on, which was hard because I use it to sleep, and parking not included. Also, no shampoo, only soap.

Very small room, beds are hard as a rock, and not very clean. Came here for a night stay and was woken up multiple times throughout the night with people yelling inside and fight. Horrible stay.

After reading the reviews, I was very skeptical. However, the Surf Villa Hotel was the PERFECT place for someone traveling to Ocean City, Maryland. We were exactly two blocks from the boardwalk and ocean. Also, the staff was very pleasant and allowed us to check-in early without even asking. Overall, the room was really small; thankfully, we weren’t in the room for anything other than changing or sleeping. I would gladly stay here again if I needed to. Me and my boyfriend were very pleased.

It's cheap. But it's messed up. Mold in fridge. Handrail coming out of the wall.

Worst experience ever!

For the amount charged, the room looked like a closet! The shower looked as if it were outdoors and the bed had sand on it which made me question if the bedding was even changed!! No microwave, no central air, no one at the front desk 24 hrs a day. The worst experience EVER!

You get what you pay for! With that being said it was a pretty clean room. Hardwood floors and clean looking and smelling white sheets with no stains. The bathroom had multiple hairs in the shower though, and not out of your head… if you know what I mean. The owner was super nice, not a lot of parking on site. Worth the money if you’re looking for something cheap.

Beware that the codes to get into each room doesn’t not get changed after each stay. We had trouble getting into our room and a random gentleman asked if we needed help locking our door and he proceeded to punch in “our code” to our room. We were speechless. When I expressed my concern to the front desk, he said that gentleman has stayed in that room before, so he knows the code. The $15 paid parking you purchase is in another motels lot 3 blocks away. There is only one outlet for the tiny room and in that was a multiple plug that was used for a window air conditioning unit, the mini frig, a light, the Roku and the TV. We unplugged the light and TV, so we could charge our phones. I know that I reserved a room that wasn’t going to be the Ritz, but my concern was the overall safety of the motel.

Expecting something average but this place….never again. The sheets in our room had holes in them. The bathroom was worse than a truck stop restroom. The shower was a 2x2 box with no water pressure. The tv didn’t work the entire time, until after we messed with it and figured out why it wasn’t working. Let me tell you about the parking. Haha. They have about 5 spots, and 1 HC spot on property and then have a shared lot a block away. I think the coffee pots are for show, never smelt any coffee. I would’ve rather have stayed at a camp ground with no tent.

Place looks nice from the outside. Lobby is clean and nice. First thing that threw me off. When i went to pay i was asked for card i figured to just verify i was the one who booked the room and i wanted to pay cash. Kinda my fault for not speaking up, but at the same time he takes my card and goes into a back room and closed the door. After that went upstairs and there were peoples dirty underwear laying on the hallway floor the whole time we were there they layed there on the floor. Got to the room, was pretty small but ok just for a night with my parents at the beach. Once settled for a few we could tell the walls were very thin, you can hear everything in that building. The sheets were stained with brown spots. The bathroom shower water is ice cold for the first 30+ minutes until the hot water got into the pipes or however that place is rigged. Ill definitely pass on this place next time i visit oc. Not worth $420

The building was very old. There were not enough parking spots and the man who checked me in said there was overflow parking nearby but I couldn't find it after circling around 3 times. They charge fifteen dollars to park.I was on the 3rd floor with a super narrow staircase and no elevator, so I went thru my suitcase and grabbed toiletries and threw a few things into a bag light enough to haul up to the 3rd floor. The lock on the door was a numbered electric combination, and I had a hard time locking it from the outside when leaving the room. Once in the room, the AC was already on and fairly newer, so the temp was very comfortable. There were no shades or blackout curtains, just very thin material on the windows facing the street, so I felt like I had to turn the lights off to get changed. Everything was very worn and old. The toilet was super low to the ground and there was no bar or anything to hold on to, to lower myself down. I recently recovered from an injury, so the trek up all the stairs, the lack of any safety bars to hold on to just to use the toilet or the shower, which was VERY worn, made me a little nervous. The pillows had yellowed pillowcases that smelled like they hadn't been changed, and the pillows themselves were thin, old, stained and worn into little squares. (I travel with my own pillows, thankfully). They did have wifi. The one plug there, looked like a fire hazard. Overall, not absolutely filthy, but shabby and nowhere I'd stay again.
