Having paid by hotels.com was quite shocked to have to pay an additional £23 on arrival which wasv £6 each for breakfast and £5 per nighr to park. Breakfast was at 9 and wasnt that great and some what rushed as we had to vacate the room at 10
Sink to small for kettle, no heating, and noisey guests
Tired old hotel ,which needs renovating .when I booked through expedia I expected more .blinds in our room were broken ,almost imposible to use shower as room was so cramped ,toilet was difficult to flush everything needed renovating ,but linen and towels were new, for over £100 for one night with our Grandchildren ,dissapointing .Bar was awful there was no beer on draught. If any one reads this go to a travel lodge if you venture to Blackpool.
The condition of the hotel was really unclean and in much need of redecoration. The dirty finger stains in the toilet were disgusting. The rooms were small and uncomfortable. The TV didn’t work. The view was horrible. There was no heating in the room at the end of October and the quilts were wafer thin. The bedding, walls and ceiling had stains on them. The breakfast was not pleasant. The cups were so small it was hard to get hydrated. The bar looked really battered up, not somewhere you would sit in with children. We did not complain as a previous review said they got shouted at by the manager when they tried to do so and we felt we would get the same reaction. We would never stay there again, we felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Not sure why the plastic cup was placed over the drain in the shower, we decided to go home for the shower. It was probably to bail out the water!
I booked some rooms for my birthday get away,a weekend in blackpool with my husband and family, Saddly i ended up in hospital with sever problems! With this happening i was un able to contact the hotel. After my mum had managed to get through to the hotel they were very un helpful and unapologetic for what had happend and refused my refuned.. I have now wasted my money.. Please note if you have a sever problem or a death in the family this hotel will not give you YOUR money back, as they really dont make out to care . Thanks for all the disappointment
Filthy rotten smelly wouldn’t put my dog in it if I had one.
Had a wonderful week here. The service from Steve and the girls are fantastic, any issues sorted quickly. Buffet style breakfast so that you can pick and choose what you want was good quality and comparable to any of the cafes around. The general hotel needs a little TLC and a little modernization but it was adequate for our needs.
Appeared dirty reception area smelled of urine room tiolet to small step down to enter toilet no warning sign I fell in and sprained my back asked for accident book they could not find it had to write what happened on a blank peice of paper
You were expected to ring to inform them of expected arrival time. Rang ten times the day before and the morning of departure with no answer. I was panicking that the hotel had shut! I was informed that when I got there that the receptionist was on holiday! I also had to sit sideways on the toilet due to the position of the sink! The staff were lovely.
Got to hotel at 2am from South Wales and opened up for us lovely breakfast
