Love this place
Quaint hotel close to the center of town. Would definitely stay here again. All staff were friendly and helpful! Love that we can use a shuttle too.

Second time at the Charles Inn. We love it there. Our room was a bit cold during the night and could not adjust the heat/heated floors in bathroom only worked in spots.. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay. Beautiful place to stay.

First time staying
Pleasant stay for the first time. We stayed in the Richardson Room. Couple things about this room. If you stay in this room during the winter keep the shutters closed inside. Keeps the cold out. This is a 200+ year old building and they don’t have a heater vent in this room. The heating unit is above on the wall. The mattress was not so good. Highly recommend they change it. It also didn’t fit the bed. And it was slighted. Only complaint I have.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff were terrific. The room was ultra-comfortable. My only tiny suggestion is the room needs a guide for the television (what each channel is) and a small coffee machine would be a nice touch.
