Our double room with a river view was spacious spotless, and very comfortable. We were given a very warm welcome by the whole front desk staff. A welcome drink was offered. Very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The free shuttle bus between the hotel and train station is worth knowing about before you arrive! It was a perfect location for exploring the historical areas in Kanazawa. We had a Japanese style room which had novelty for us, plenty of space and comfortable; although sleeping on a futon is “firm” so perfect for a short stay.

Fantastic location, walking distance to kenroken garden and castle park. Twin room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Private elevator to onsen which was very good. Buffet breakfast was high quality, relaxing and staff were friendly and had good English. Checkin was trouble free and onsite parking, for a fee, was not a problem. Hotel had an older elegant vibe with nightly musical recitals in the foyer. Staff were great in all areas. Overall highly recomended and would definitely stay again.

The women’s onsen was perfect! Water temp perfect, amenities in the bath were plentiful and very nice. I did see some of the ladies having trouble with the hairdryers, but mine worked fine. I enjoyed the sauna too. Not a steam sauna, but nice and hot.
