Okay stay
The location is in a very run down area. The hotel (the new building) is nice (on the inside) but didn’t have much going on in the room. he location is great, close to the train station and very easy to get around the city by train

Excellent service
Excellent service by the staff who worked day shift during our stay (15-19 Aug). The hotel is quite near the redlight district - so just be more aware when walking down some of the alleys at night. Otherwise, the location is really convenient, with a supermarket just downstairs, a restaurant that serves excellent food and opens even on a public holiday just behind (1min walk), and it is also near the train station. We are happy with our stay.

Thin walls
We stayed in the newer section of the hotel that used to be a bank, so everything was clean and new. It was nice to stay in a hotel that has air conditioning! The location is nowhere near the plaza and older section of Brussels, but we needed the extra walking with all the chocolate we were eating. The hotel walls are extremely thin and it's never good to wake up at 3 in the morning listening to your next door neighbors activities, especially when I've got my child in the room with me.
