Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were extremely friendly! Everything was close by; only a few steps to the promenade. We had a great vacation time and will be back.

Altes Hotel in bester Lage. Wer ein Zimmer mit Meerblick möchte, sollte Details erfragen. Wir wurden für über 300 Euro die Nacht im Dachgeschoss untergebracht (warm). Den Meerblick konnten wir nur im Stehen genießen (eine Art Oberlicht). Die Minibar war inklusive. Zu meiner Verwunderung war sie aber nur mit zwei kleinen Flaschen Wasser ausgestattet, die nicht einmal regelmäßig nachgefüllt wurden.
Die weiblichen Mitarbeiter der Rezeption waren tendenziell arrogant, aber freundlich. Wir sind um 10.30 Uhr mit Jetlag angereist, haben dies zum Ausdruck gebracht und mussten bis nach 14 Uhr warten (Check-in Zeit 15 Uhr). Rechtlich ok.
Das Zimmer war geräumig. Im ansonsten schönen Badezimmer gab es in einer schönen begehbaren Dusche nur eine Handbrause (Premiere für mich in sehr guten und auch schlechten Hotels).
Das wahre Plus ist die Frühstücksterrasse und ein phantastisches Personal, das an der Ostsee seines Gleichen sucht. Auch das Personal der Bar hat Freude gemacht.
Der Fitnessraum ist sehr gut ausgestattet, leider isr er zu warm, da er direkt an den Wellnessbereich angrenzt.
Fazit: Es gibt deutlich bessere Alternativen an der Ostsee in diesem Preisseqment (Hohe Düne, Steigenberger Grand Hotel in Heringsdorf). Nächste Woche mache ich den nächsten Test.

Am besten haben mir die Zimmer und der Ausblick gefallen. Leider wirkt das große, in die Jahre gekommene Hotel etwas marode und aus der Zeit gefallen. Es müsste belebter und fröhlicher gestaltet werden, vielleicht könnte man mit tollen Veranstaltungen ein wenig mehr Leben in das alte Gemäuer hauchen.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Morgens beim Frühstück schon gleich das freundliche Personal , so aufmerksam und immer nah am Menschen. Toll ! Das Haus selbst ist schön und bietet einiges, allein der Tee in der Eingangshalle , sehr lobenswert. Die Bar ist auch super. Schön hell. Nächstes Mal testen wir auch die Zigarren Lounge aus.

Tolles Gebäude, schöne Einrichtung, nettes Personal - wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.
Verbesserungspotenzial:
Wir würden uns längere Gym- & Spa-Öffnungszeiten wünschen. 21 Uhr Schluss war uns mit Essengehen oder anderen Unternehmungen dann doch meistens zu früh.
Das Frühstück und Angebot waren qualitativ hervorragend. Wir hätten uns jedoch gewünscht Empfangen und zum Tisch geführt zu werden.

Historisches Haus in allerbester Lage von Travemünde. Schöne, klassische Möbel, eine Menge zurückhaltender Luxus und maritimes Flair.
Das Frühstück ist im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Häusern dieser Preisklasse unfassbar toll.
