We had a wonderful stay at the Baglioni Resort Sardinia. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and took great care of our family throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience. The food was excellent, with delicious options for both adults and children, and the overall quality of the resort exceeded our expectations. The rooms, grounds, and amenities were all beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The only downside is that there is no direct access to the beach, which would have made the experience even better. Aside from that, everything was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sardinia.

Fabulous property! The staff go above and beyond, the included breakfast buffet is unbelievable, I mean it is next level amazing! Endless rows of freshly made pastries that look like a work of art, and everything else your heart could desire for breakfast! Plan your day around breakfast, do not miss it. The pool is great. You do need to take a shuttle to the beach, but the beach is pristine, with crystal clear water and loungers with towels are already set up with water also available. We loved having the sea view room, which was beautifully decorated, updated and clean. I’m counting down the days until we can return again. Also, if you are from the US, there is a direct flight from JFK to Olbia.

Excellent family or romantic stay

We stayed at Baglioni Resort Sardinia for five nights and, unfortunately, left feeling disappointed. For a 5-star resort, we expected a much higher level of service. Our experience started at check-in. With temperatures above 30°C, we expected at least a welcome drink or some kind of refreshment. There were also several issues with our room. We requested a bed rail for our daughter on arrival but never received one. Drilling work had to be done in the room, and the fine dust was never properly cleaned despite several reminders. The toilet seat was only fixed after our third request and became loose again on our last day. The drinks were beautifully presented and tasted great, but the prices were excessive. We actually preferred the food from the pool bar and the kids’ menu over the main restaurant. One pasta dish was far too salty, the risotto was still undercooked, and overall the restaurant was disappointing. The staff were always friendly and polite, but unfortunately our requests were not handled efficiently. Having to ask several times for the same issues was frustrating. On a positive note, the resort itself is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained, with a nice pool, a small playground, and plenty of green space for children. Overall, the resort has great potential, but based on our experience, it did not deliver the level of service or quality we expect from a 5-star property.

The positives....the hotel is in a good location, with a short walk to a lovely beach where the hotel has its own private area with chairs and shade parasols. The staff are very attentive, and the breakfast buffett has a good varied choice , and addtional cooked items are also avilable to order, some of which are included in the price , others are extra. Negatives ....a little unfair , as this is not unique to this hotel.....but something that is common in Sardina ......food and drinks are ridiculously expensive....a small beer being €11!!

Absolutely perfect stay! The entire staff is accommodating, friendly & willing to go the extra mile to ensure you don’t have to lift a finger. We were in a suite which was more than enough room for the 2 of us. Very large closet area with both hanging and shelving. We had plenty of space for our large suitcases. Comfortable bed & linens. We loved having the garden space with the lounge chairs for enjoying an afternoon drink in private. We dined at Gusto which was an experience everyone should enjoy. The breakfast buffet had anything you could imagine; breads, fruits, hams, cheeses, eggs all fresh and delicious. The walk to the beach through the wetlands is wonderful. And the hotels private beach is TOP NOTCH, STUNNING. This is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The pool is magnificent as well. Highly, highly recommend this resort if you really want to feel pampered stay at Baglioni Resort!

The resort is beautiful. The beach is amazing. One of the best on the island. The only down side is the price of food and drinks. Breakfast is included which in great. Drinks at the bar are outrageously expensive. 25$ euros for 1/2 a cup of wine. 30$ euros for a medium sized cheese pizza. We are from San Diego and are used to high prices but this was ridiculous. Especially since none of the neighboring restaurants or bars charge such high rates. For example We had a very nice dinner in neighboring San Teodoro for 4 people with 3 apps, 4 main courses, 2 desserts, and 2 bottles of wine for 220$ euros. At the hotel the bar and restaurant (aside from breakfast ) are always very empty and I think the high prices must be why. So yes stay here, but drink and eat lunch and dinner elsewhere.

The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, peaceful. Staff is very friendly especially with children. We had a wonderful time both at the poolside and at the beach. The multiple pool sizes were great for children. The beach is not as isolated as the pictures lead on. Yes, there are enough beach chairs for hotel customers, but to either side of that designated area are crowds of Italians enjoying the beach. If you want isolated… this is not for you. We personally had a great time though. People respected the hotel area and did not overcrowd the water either. Water is clean and the sand is white and soft. It really is beautiful. As for the resort, a few negative things to mention. I wish the cleaning staff were more diligent with details and replaced things that were empty or missing since it’s a 5 star hotel. For example my robe was missing for 3 days until I called to get it replaced, body wash was finished and not replaced until I asked someone. The restaurant and pool bar are great, I just wished they had daily specials for children. After a week, the menu gets boring. Another thing to note, if you are allergic to bees or afraid of them, this might not the place for you. The staff really tries hard to control them but they are very bothersome at breakfast and dinner. At times you feel like you are battling bees instead of enjoying your meal. But again… I think that is part of nature there. Overall, my family did love it and would stay there again.
