The hotel is very nice but very expensive for food & drinks & the menu is basically for fine dining so maybe not for everyone? Very isolated so you can only really eat at the hotel but positioned well for Mount Etna excursions & that is why we chose it.

It’s our second time at Villa Neri and it’s just the perfect place to spend a relaxing few days anyway that you like. In a sensational setting, right under Mt Etna there is an amazing pool with outdoor bar and a restaurant which delivers superb food.

Wonderful place. We stayed here with our 5 year old and 9 year old. Beautiful property, rooms, amenities and pool! They also have a winery and tastings which was a huge plus! We did a tasting and the wines were delicious! Great spa too! You never need to leave the property, they have everything you need here!

Our stay at the Villa Neri was wonderful. The area is quiet and peaceful. The staff were all courteous and amazing. The hotel itself is a little bit secluded so driving is recommended if you want to get around and explore yourself. There are many things available to do at the resort: spa facilities, pool, tours of the winery, etc. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a relaxing atmosphere for their trip.

Amazing Staff

It’s been a very long time since I’ve stayed at a hotel with such attentive staff. Amazing place and amazing staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. One issue was there is no gym or free airport transfer like it says on hotels.com.

Beautiful property in idyllic location

An incredible stay at Villa Neri for my wife and I. The room was large (Deluxe) and had one of the best bathrooms I had ever seen. The food at the Hotel is easily the best I have had at a hotel and deserving of a Michelin star. We were also very big fans of the hotel cats and their kittens and enjoyed seeing them treated well by staff. Only small points of feedback - the hotel sometimes felt understaffed, particularly at the pool bar during the day. The only other thing was the dated entertainment system in the room which you might expect to be a bit more modern for a hotel of this calibre. Otherwise a brilliant hotel all around.

Staff were not helpful, I felt that I am bothering them if I ask for help. For football fans I would not recommend to go during the World Cup as there is no any chance to watch any match. Hotel has sky provider for TV that blocks World Cup matches on RAI 1 National TV. I every day asked hotel staff to contact sky to not block matches without success. The staff answered was always that nothing can be done as sky provider controls blocking world cups matches.

The property is great. Located near Mt Etna and wine country. The rooms are very nice and the restaurant is exceptional including all of the restaurant staff. If I had one observation to improve it would be the attentiveness of the front desk staff. They are not always available and do not always respond ti email.

Lovely hotel but not luxury service

Overall a lovely hotel and setting but a few things which let the hotel down. We have stayed in around 30 SLHs, and small things here which overall let down the "luxury" status. At breakfast you pay extra if you want omelette, fried egg or a vegetable juice for example... we had booked the restaurant for one evening prior to our stay (we went out the other night) but they failed to tell us they had an event on so we were unable to actually eat in the restaurant and got put in the breakfast room (we would happily have chosen to eat at the hotel restaurant another night instead had they told us this way the case). Wellness area was lovely, but i had a massage there which consisted of being rubbed very quickly rather than actually massaged (bit odd), and as i was pregnant they sat me up rather than putting me on my side which was less comfortable. Finally upon leaving i had left a bag of bottles and toiletries separately to our suitcase which had clearly been flung on the floor in the storage room smashing 2 glass bottles and ruining a lot of my belongings. Gorgeous pool area, very relaxing area, lovely clean hotel and nice toiletries.. a shame that these things let down our stay.

Bellissima struttura inserita in un contesto ambientale spettacolare. Personale attento e professionale. Camera comoda e funzionale con un bellissimo terrazzino. Strutta veramente Pet Friendly. El Spa estube cerrado durante toda la estancia por un problema tecnico. Esto afecto notablemente la experiencia, habiendo sido el spa un elemento principal al momento de eligir este hotel. La tranquilidad, que tendria que ser una caracteristica de este establecimento, se vio afectada notablemente por la presencia de un grupo familiar muy grande y muy ruidoso que practicamente monopolizo la sala desayuno y que dejaba los niños jugar, critar y correr en los passillos sin parar. En un hotel de esta categoria hubiera esperado que el personal actuara sin la necesidad de ser llamado para que lo hiciera. En el desayuno nos avisaron que añadir queso a la omelette tenia que ser pagado a parte (en un 5*…?) Factores positivos - wine tasting: muy buena y bien explicada - masaje: excellente

Unser Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt. Das Hotel präsentiert sich als Spa-Hotel, jedoch war der Spa-Bereich an beiden Tagen unseres Aufenthalts aufgrund technischer Störungen nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Besonders bedenklich war der Zustand im Badezimmer: In der Dusche ragten Kabel aus der Decke, was wir als potenziell gefährlich empfunden haben. Auch beim Frühstück kam es zu einer unangenehmen Situation. Nach etwa 20 Minuten wurden wir gebeten, den Raum zu verlassen, damit andere Gäste Platz finden können – ein Vorgehen, das wir in dieser Form als nicht angemessen empfunden haben. Die genannten Punkte wurden dem Management vor Ort mitgeteilt. Leider erfolgte weder eine erkennbare Reaktion noch eine Entschuldigung. Zusätzlich war die Klimaanlage im Zimmer 201 so laut, dass an erholsamen Schlaf kaum zu denken war. Insgesamt entspricht dieses Erlebnis aus unserer Sicht nicht dem Standard, den man von einem Haus dieser Kategorie erwarten darf.
