The location of Casa Collins is central and walking distance to so many options on Ocean Drive, Collins Ave and Washington.
The hotel and room were very clean.
The disadvantage I did find that when trying to get a hold of an actual person (while not being at the hotel) was difficult because I found the WhatsApp chat was AI generated with responses that picked up on key words, so I felt like going in circles with trying to ask a question.
On the FAQs page of Casa Collins, it did note that room cleaning was completed every 2 days and "if you require additional towels, amenities, or a room refresh outside of this schedule, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist". Therefore, I thought asking for additional towels would be an easy request because we are not requesting a room clean outside of the schedule....
I requested additional towels via the chat and received a generic response as well as the response that room cleaning was completed every 2 days, I also asked a staff member and the responses I received made it sound like such an inconvenience to be asking for 2 extra towels. We were provided with 2 extra towels, however, it was made clear to us that it was an exception that these towels were provided to us outside of the 2 day room cleaning schedule.
