The resort is beautiful. The pool was great and heated and the service around the pool was also top notch. We decided half way through our stay to upgrade our room to the ocean view suite and it was the best decision we made. It was absolutely worth it and the views of the ocean and sunset were superb. The property is located just a few minutes from Carlsbad Village. The beach is in walking distance. The hotel offers bicycles, beach chairs and towel. They also have a shuttle that can take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius. We enjoyed the spa where we had a couples massage. All the employees from the front desk to the wait staff and room attendants were so nice. We had a balcony with a view of the pool and the ocean. It was so peaceful and relaxing!
