I arrived in the afternoon and left early the next morning therefore did not have breakfast. The hotel was great modern and everything you want. Really well Located to the centre of Maribor and walkable from both the bus and train station. I would stay again if stopping over in Maribor.

Incredible stay at City Hotel. Everything about the hotel was high quality. I was lucky enough to stay in a large corner room that overlooked both the city and the river. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff arranged for an iron to be brought to my room ahead of my arrival. The Nespresso coffee machine was a bonus, as was access to a 24/7 gym. The breakfast options were plentiful and high quality and sitting on the terrace was lovely. Only minor room for improvement, my suggestions would be some bath salts/liquid for the bath and a more modern hairdryer as the one supplied was old and slow . Overall would definitely stay again.

Great location! Can be difficult to find the entrance to the parking garage if you are coming in by car. Breakfast was fantastic! We got upgraded to a suite, which was awesome.

Lovely hotel - great location with a lovely setting along the river. The only slight problem we had is the air con didn’t work very well and on a 36 degree day we could’ve really done with it. Spoke to reception about it but no improvements could be made that’s just how it was. Otherwise lovely stay thank you

Would stay again

While there is no coffee in the room, it had convenient location, easy parking, good breakfast, and apart from one young man at reception who didn't want to make a dinner reservation for us, great and friendly staff. Overall, I would stay there again.

Big hotel with great restaurant and terrace

Big hotel in a convenient location and with a nice terrace. The restaurant here is in itself worth a visit. The hotel has pretty much everything you need and you can see it if you go to youtube and search for the karlmarkinternational channel and the slovenia playlist. It will be great to soon be back here.

Staff were extremely obliging (had problem with the TV which was quickly fixed). Breakfast was excellent. Although the room was spacious, there was only one small window and with the main lighting coming from a large, central light, it made it all a bit gloomy.

Cleaning could be better...

The staff were very friendly and a great breakfast each morning. The remote control was filthy so it made me question the level of hygiene in other areas. The air con was next to useless so I had to open the windows, but because it's a heatwave, that did nothing. Therefore, two hot and disturbed nights.
