At 56 years of age and very well travelled, I can honestly say I have never experienced this level of service anywhere I’ve stayed. The hotel is immaculate, spacious and exceptionally well maintained, and everything feels calm, organised and effortless.
We stayed for 10 days in January in a swim-up room, and the pool was beautifully heated and very warm, which made a huge difference at that time of year. The adults-only pool was also heated, and there were always plenty of people using the main pool too, so we assume that was heated as well.
The staff throughout the hotel are outstanding — genuinely friendly, attentive and always willing to help. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and the level of service is consistent everywhere.
The food is excellent, with a fantastic choice of à la carte restaurants including Mongolian, Italian, Indian and Egyptian, and you can dine in them as many times as you like during your stay, which we haven’t experienced in Egypt before.
You can snorkel straight off the jetty, and there’s also a sandy beach with a shallow area that’s ideal for paddling. The hotel grounds are beautiful and easy to walk around, and everything is kept spotlessly clean.
This hotel is honestly faultless and without doubt one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
