I cannot say enough of this small jewel in Xalapa. Great boutique hotel . Great staff! Safe area to walk and exercise. Amazing food! Just one minor drawback is the pillows, a little bit too hard for my taste, but don’t forget to ask for a change. This is not a hotel for people with wheelchairs, since there is a lot of steps.

My partner and I stayed at Colombe Hotel for almost a month and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were exceptional and friendly, the food was delicious and at a decent price (with free fresh breakfast everyday until 10AM!), and we had a nice room with a comfortable bed. For those who love to swim, there is also a nice pool area with seating and shared space available as well. Overall, we loved our stay at Colombe Hotel and we will definitely be coming back!

The hotel was beautiful! The restaurant had amazing food, the service was great and everyone was friendly. I had a room close to the stadium/main street above the pool with a patio overlooking all the action. The street noise was loud. I acquired ear plugs and had no issues. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel while visiting for our parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and chose it due to the location. We could not have been more pleased. The property was clean, the room was comfortable, the bed was great, the staff (reception, restaurant, bar, housekeeping, everyone) was great. We even loved the kitty who is a mainstay at the property. Good value for the money. Would stay again - only wish it were warm enough to use the pool which looked very inviting. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a beautiful, unique setting for this boutique. The housekeeper, and workers are wonderful. I was not very happy with the receptionist at the front desk, she seemed aloof and unapproachable. We asked for two additional pillows and were told they did not have extra pillows (by the person at the front desk). It seemed like we were bothering.

Would not recommend.

Place was terrible. They had recently fumigated it. I realized this when I saw all the drawers, etc. were open. They admitted to it when I mentioned how badly it smelled. I should have asked to move rooms but it was too late in the night before I realized what I was smelling. If this weren’t bad enough, there was no hot water, poor internet connectivity, and a lot of noise. Pool was dirty and nothing like the photos. No A/c, either. Breakfast was decent, however. At least there was that.

Desde la llegada el personal muy atento, preguntamos por un servicio que no les correspondía, pero sin dudarlo se ofrecieron a atenderlo. Nos guiaron a la habitación en la cual me sentí como en casa. La cama muy cómoda y con blancos de primera calidad y la ambientación muy bien. El baño muy amplio y con todo lo necesario para disfrutar una buena ducha. El restaurante incluía desayuno con lo suficiente para iniciar el día; pero su menú en general es abundante y con muy buena preparación; ya que cenamos y comimos y todo muy sabroso. El ambiente del restaurante cuenta con unas pequeñas fuentes y una vista espectacular, y de fondo buena música y en volumen justo. Los meseros muy atentos. El hotel cuenta con una sala para degustar un buen vino o alguna otra bebida; y si sabes tocar el piano, ahí hay uno disponible. La sala está junto al restaurante. El hotel cuenta con piscina, pero no tuvimos tiempo para disfrutarla
