I had a great experience staying at Hotel Solaya in Scottsdale! The location is one of the best parts of the hotel — it’s right in Old Town Scottsdale, so there are tons of restaurants, bars, shopping, and things to do within walking distance. Very clean and the amenities were also really good!

Hotel is quite large and spread out- there are some signs of age here & there but overall pretty good, The pool was very dirty the first day there but they cleaned it the next day so much better. All the staff at the pool were great- service for drinks & food was very good. The food at the poolside was very good as well. All in all a nice place, with a few touch ups here & there.

Loved this property. Was pleasantly surprised at the vibes. It was giving Palm Springs. The room was surprisingly spacious. The pool was the best. They had a dj on Saturday and they provided fun floaties. And love that they had a pool bar. My only complaint is the parking fee to self park on the property. $30/night I believe? I noticed there was a security gate but it wasn’t in use until my last day of the stay.

Check in was a little too quick. Didn't get an explanation of times the pool or gym were open. Also given incorrect time of when the restaurant closed. Also was told they would send something special for our anniversary to our room, but that never happened. THE STAFF WAS GREAT BUT THE BUILDING ITSELF LOOKS LIKE ITS FALLING APART. DECORATIONS WERE BEAUTIFUL BUT IT DEFNITELY NEEDED SOME TLC ON WALLS AND FLOORS AS WELL AS OUTSIDE. Nicely updated property with fresh and modern rooms, lobby, etc. The staff was terrific BUT they were not able to get the pool cleaned for the entire week we stayed. Apparently there was a broken pump situation that was already a problem and a local dust storm that probably shut down the pump in the first place. The pool was a muddy mess for the first half of our stay and slowly improved but still dirt on steps and water cloudy the day we left. I didn’t get to swim once during 108+ temperatures and the pool was the prime amenity for us. Some guests were swimming towards the end of our stay but doubtful situation would pass any health inspection. I was given some consideration for the inconvenience but nothing could make up for ruining our vacation.

Enjoyed the stay would have rated better due to construction. The coffee machine in the rooms didn’t work properly but was nice to get it accommodated at the restaurant. Also, the fridge in our room didn’t get very cold. I really like the pool area with all the seating music and it will be nice once all is complete.

Absolutely loved staying here! Perfect for anyone! It was so unbelievably clean and well kept! The staff really wants the best for you and your stay! The amenities and rooms were the best part; such a beautiful villa style with close proximity to everything! I will 100% be coming back!
