Low cost

Cheap Hotel in the middle of town. The hotel might have been quite good a long time ago. For what you pay , the value is o-kay, but there are better options nearby. The hotel needs refurbishing and some general maintenance and cleaning.

Don’t do it.

The hotel is ran down and not maintained. Staff at the front desk doesn’t even greet you when you leave/arrive. Every time they help, it feels like you’re forcing them to do you a favor. On TWO different occasions, room service came in and left the door without a lock. I was lucky no one came in my room and stole everything. Breakfast was OK, but on zero days out of the 10 days I stayed, the scrambled eggs were hot. Internet SUCKS. It comes in at out for a few seconds, and it’s very slow, making it impossible to work. Would not recommend.

Eu já havia ficado no Gran Continental. Eu gosto muito do hotel. Quartos espaçosos, cama macia (uma delicia e muito confortável), banheiro grande também, iluminação muito boa. Dessa vez ficamos no quarto 407. Café da manhã bem gostoso, frutas boas, pães quentinhos, vários tipos de bolos... bem gostosos. Localidade do hotel muito silenciosa, cama e aparentemente segura. Em frente tem um supermercados pra comprar uma água, ou algo essencial que se precise. Custo benefício muito bom, preço justo ao que se propõe. Um agradecimento especial ao rapaz que fica no café (esqueci de perguntar o nome dele. Perdão). Mas eu acordei muito cedo para uma prova e tomei um café rápido, e na volta da prova eu estava morrendo de fome e mesmo já estando no horário de retirar os alimentos ele permitiu que nos servíssemos decentemente e aguardaram um pouco pra retirar o café. MUITO OBRIGADA, MOÇO E EQUIPE! Voltaria mil vezes nesse hotel.

Ótima opção para um final de semana. A única situação que incomodou foi o alto barulho do banheiro de cima, refletindo diretamente no teto do meu quarto. Acho um ponto importante para revisar. No mais, indico o hotel e retornarei se tiver nova necessidade. Excelente café da manhã e estacionamento amplo.
