Lovely guest house, great location
We had three nights in Hermanus and were warmly welcomed to the property by Barry, our host. A beautifully decorated house in a seafront location with secure parking. We were given a suite of two rooms with bathroom, very spacious and clean. The breakfasts were very good and could be taken in the dining room or outside on the terrace. They had an honesty system for drinks which worked very well. Barry was very helpful in suggestions for eating out and local places to visit. He even took my husband to a local garage to get a chip repaired on our windscreen. We had not visited the area before but were very impressed both with the lively town and the surrounding areas. Its a beautiful place and we will definitely be back. Check out the seafood shack on the harbour - fantastic fish and chips!

Great place to stay
Look no further for accommodation in hermanus,this guest house truly is a gem The rooms are very large with balconies and they are so clean with wonderful bedding and towels which we all want Great breakfast in the mornings and Barry the manager is a star ! Nothing is too much trouble for him and he is always wanting to help you in any way His staff were also very friendly and helpful We will definitely stay there again

convenient and cosy
We arrived late, but were still greeted to a very warm welcome from San Marie. Bedroom and bed was very cosy, even with electric blankets, which i appreciated , as i wasn't feeling well.San Marie offered us great direction where to eat locally and it was great to know we were in walking distance too. Breakfast was great with Barry overseeing anything we might want.

Wonderful sea view, sadly no whales!
Wonderful big room with views out over the bay. You could probably watch whales while lying on your bed! Huge bathroom with all expected facilities, twin sinks, separate power shower and bath. Absolutely nothing to moan about, breakfast was lovely and relaxed and Barry is a friendly, helpful and humorous host!

Wonderful
Barry, the Manager is a star. He is the most friendly host ever. Nothing was too much. The Vue is a wonderful, relaxing and well located BnB. It does not have an elevator, so not good for some. Breakfast is to die for. Hope to teturn
