I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The parking service was excellent and very well organized. Both dinner and breakfast were very good, with great quality and variety. Very nice hotel in a convenient location. I was completely satisfied with what was delivered for the price. The building itself is beautiful and an iconic piece of the Abu Dhabi skyline. Note that this is an excellent mid-tier hotel, not a luxury hotel. It's clear that in recent years they have been reducing some costs (e.g., the condition of some furniture was poor, they no longer offer shuttle/car arrangements to/from the airport). Great experience as long as you set correct expectations and get a good price on the room. If you expect luxury conditions or pay a luxury price you may be disappointed.

This is a very large hotel . The pool area is a big disappointment. Sun is blocked by buildings and the restaurant and bar completely surrounded the pool. If you swim there you are very much !on display. I did not care for the breakfast. Many items but nothing really tased good. The staff were very nice although housekeeping came around 4 pm every day. Too late for me if returning from a long outing. Elevators were crowded and slow. There is a Sheraton and a Meridian hotel next door, I think the better choice. The restaurant is open to tour busses bringing large crowds for lunch. Lunch buffet no better than breakfast. No à la carte menu. Check in was very slow and room not ready until exactly 3pm.

We were fortunate to have a disabled room so there was plenty of room with great views. On our first day we left to visit Yas Marina F1 Circuit early in the morning and returned after 4pm and our room was still not done. We had to ask twice to have them come to do it. However, when Joyce did come, she was a delightful young woman and a great ambassador for the hotel. That was the only day we had the problem and the room was always spotlessly cleaned.
