The property ground is nice and area is enclosed feel safe, staff are very nice and provide good service. But the condition of the property is so so, room is old badly need a update, no hot water and microwave in room, very small fridge and no room for anything, every time you want to have some hot drinking water you have to walk through the court yard to reception and wait for someone to boil some water for you, so inconvenient. Also in our room there are three beds, the larger bed is comfortable but the small ones is hard like rock, no mattress pad just a sheet, so in the morning your will find your whole body is in pain. Overall we feel for the price you paid ( around $200+) you should have better accommodations. The location is in town but petty far to tug in a dirt road, not easy to walk to town need a car to be around.

This is a lovely well kept property and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the pool lovely. The rooms are large and comfortable and very quiet. The main building itself is very nice and welcoming. There are only a couple of downsides to this place that keep it from getting a 10 and that is the internet which is weak. The breakfast is adequate but I still find it hard to believe that few of these places in Argentina offer eggs as every other meal seems to include them! The other thing that keeps it from 5 stars isthe location which is about a 10 minute walk from the main village. The road leading to it is a dirt road which at the time we went which is the end of the rainy season was quite rough as was the area surrounding the hotel. But what a surprise awaits you as you walk through the gates and on to the property! Tilcara is a lovely authentic village and despite it’s few shortcomings, I would stay here again.

The most beautiful hotel. They use alot of local stone and wood to build the hotel. It is stuning to see how incorporated cocal wood and recycle wood in the building of the hotel. Even beter than the hotel is the staff. They went our of their way to work with our car rental company to help us extend our stay. We have to leave early for the airport. They even open the breafast early for us and pack a couple of food bag to go. This is very thoughtful and it shiw the genuine car for the guest. Beat hotel ever.

The hotel looked like a great choice but unfortunately, our room was poorly maintained. No AC, no fan. The room felt like a stove in the afternoon. The shower was partially broken with the handles not working properly. Breakfast was OK, and the 3 cats hanging around is a real joy. Just fix the shower and add an AC for the hot days.

Estivemos hospedados do dia 16 ao dia 20/06/2026. A hospedagem é limpa e bem conservada, o ambiente externo é ótimo, com uma piscina boa, aquecida. Tem um jardim com mesas e cadeiras para ficarmos à vontade. A recepção a área do café da manhã possuem aquecimento e lareira, e são super agradáveis. Gostamos muito também porque é pet friendly e tem vários gatos da pousada. O quarto é espaçoso, com com uma cama boa, o banheiro é bom e oferece amenidades. O quarto tem um aquecimento pelo chão, que achamos excelente. As pessoas que trabalham no hotel são amáveis e atenciosas. No dia 20 foi meu aniversário e no café da manhã levaram um brownie e cantaram parabéns. Não foi perfeito pois tivemos um imprevisto que não foi resolvido. No dia 19 acordamos com frio e percebemos que o piso estava frio, assim que fomos tomar café da manhã avisamos na recepção e nos disseram que iriam verificar. Como estávamos com frio, saímos para passear e novamente reclamamos, via whatsapp, que o aquecimento não funcionava. Ao retornar no final do dia, o quarto estava muito gelado, reclamamos novamente, uma pessoa foi ao nosso quarto, mas não resolveu, ao reclamarmos novamente, a pessoa nos disse que quem entende do aquecimento só iria estar na pousada no dia seguinte às 11h, e que não tinham outro quarto disponível para os realocar, por isso dormimos no frio, e a temperatura estava negativa nesse dia.
