A pleasant stay!

Reception was proficient and polte. The lady in charge was clear with information required. She delivered tickets for the Taj at nominal additional cost. The breakfast had adequate foods for western tastes in addition to Indian staples. Staff members were again polite and proficient. The lady manager at reception arranged a taxi for us to our next location (Jaipur). The driver was good, the taxi modern and spotless and the costs clear and comprehensive. I was content with the whole package.

My recent visit to hotel taj resort was amazing as it is conveniently located at walking distance to Taj Mahal. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also we loved the rooftop restaurant with great food and classical music.

You won't find a better affordable hotel as close to the Taj Mahal. The staff, especially at the front desk, work so well under stressful circumstances. All in all, a great operation!

Staff were friendly Tap in bathroom leaked, fridge and tv didnt work, kettle lid was broken. Pool was nice Proximity to Taj Mahal was good, and there was a view of the monument from the terrace restaurant

Fantastic experience and great general manager. Everyone was happy to help and made sure we had a memorable stay in Agra. Highly recommended. Very short walk to Taj Mahal and the view from the terrace is breathtaking.

Staff is excellent danish the recipient was above and beyond provide in detail information. Hotel feels good and have positive vibes.. hoghly recommended if u love taj and dont wanna travel and just want to walk .

The staff are great, but beyond that it's very average. The decor is tired and the wifi and hot water in the shower was intermittent. The continental breakfast was disappointing - tinned pineapple and rock hard bread rolls. But it is very cheap and convenient for the Taj.

Little gem

Lovely hotel within 10 min walk from Taj Mahal, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was open late-ish which was great as we arrive late from Delhi. The resturant served good quality good and reasonable prices. The views of Tj Mahal from the view point just above the resturant was breathtaking! I would highly recommed for people wanting a good traditional Indian hotel

Everybody was very friendly. It was a very nice place to stay. The water could’ve been otter, but aside for me cause I like really hot water aside from that. It was very good. I had no problems. Anything I needed the attended to. It was very good.

Location of property is awesome, just 500mtrs to taj vip gate.. rooms are good, some niggling issues though.. food is slightly disappointing..

Food and service at the Taj Terrace is excellent. Service and cleanliness at the hotel can be improved a bit to go for the top ratings. Taj Gallery is nice touch to give an exclusive shopping experience for Agra’s famous marble handicrafts. Overall a decent place to stay at walking distance from The Taj Mahal. If you are getting a nice price deal, go for it. Food will definitely make it worth if nothing else ;-)

The rooms are next to kitchen and we could hear loud pots and pans banging non- stop from 7 pm till 1 am. People shouting in the hallway. Dirty sheets and bedding. Breakfast was horrible.

I hate to write a negative review, but this place wasn’t great. It had a bad smell, like moth balls and sewer, and nothing felt clean. The food was not very fresh so I just ate toast and a banana for breakfast. I went to check out the pool only to find a monkey sitting in it who charged at me! I did not provoke it, no eye contact. Fortunately I was able to escape and shut the door before it reached me. There were no warning signs to guests to watch for monkeys, nor does that property attempt to keep them out! I would not recommend this hotel. The only good quality was its location.

Well-run hotel in excellent location

Well-run hotel with well-trained staff who are cheerful, helpful and professional at all times. Mr Yadav, in particular, ensured all necessary support. Room was well-equipped, clean, comfortable. Breakfast is essentially an Indian menu; perhaps with growing numbers of Western tourists after Covid some provision for a non-Indian breakfast could be considered. The location is ideal: far away from the dirt and dust of the current metro construction and within easy walking distance of both the Taj Mahal and the parkland that surrounds it. The hotel's top terrace offers an unobstructed view of the Taj, particularly striking early morning or late afternoon. A prestigious hotel exists almost opposite on the same road. For those not wanting ultimate luxury, I highly recommend Taj Resorts as offering distinct value and a well-supported stay to its guests.
