Me and my friends always prefer to stay in Costa Farilya each year when we have a short trip to Gundogan. The location is perfect you can easily walk to the village centre. The rooms are clean and the bed is really comfortable. The hotel was awarded blue flag due to the cleanliness of the sea. The staffs and especially the housekeeping are really nice people. This hotel is a boutique hotel that provides you the exact level of service of a five star chain hotel. The hotel does not accept pets but you can bring your puppy to the pier.

No one spoke English so was very difficult to communicate, at the restaurant it was near impossible to find out what food was etc.
Overall beautiful property with fantastic views in great location. Unfortunately when taking a closer look many appliances were broken (doors, air con) and the shower floods. Staff were generally friendly but reluctant to go out of their way to assist, possibly due to a lack of training in customer service. The pier is much too crowded, other hotels stack fewer lounge chairs. Thankfully the music was incredibly tasteful and kept at a lower volume.
It’s been one of the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed as there was no one single staff who speaks English. Reception people were lovely even though it was hard to communicate as they couldn’t speak English, however, the main problem was at the restaurant as we were served the chicken grilled, the took the wrong order and the second plate which was salmon was again served completely raw so we had to asked twice to the waiters to ask the Chef to cook properly the meal and instead of being considerate they were so rude by given us attitude and bad face as if it was our fault. The whole restaurant experience was terrible as we also had to be seated for more than 3 hours and the food was taking hours to arrive and when it arrived they were not cook, I’m very disappointed because if I would have even the raw chicken it could have been fatal for my health and I could have contradicted Salmonela. The restaurant was considerably expensive for the kind of service we received and I was never expecting to have such an unpleasant staying as i paid to have a better service and they didn’t make up for anything
Nice hotel with a great beach. The service of the waiting staff leaves much to be desired... slow is not the word. Communication in English was also a problem, competency is low. Lots of stairs, so those who are not so mobile or with young kids may need to consider this
Awesome hotel in Gundogan. Beautiful sea, close distance to restaurants and activities. Very nice modern bedroom with picturesque sea views. All staff are nice people. We loved our stay.
