The whole place is stunningly beautiful. The landscaping, pools and proximity to the sea are just wonderful. The villas are extremely spacious and tastefully designed. The outdoor shower under the coconut and other palms canopy was a very special space. The food was exceptional too. Can’t fault it at all. Kelapa Retreat is a peaceful piece of paradise.

If you’re looking for a quiet escape then this is the place. It’s remote. Do yourself a favor and pre book transportation to and from the airport.
There are only 26 villas so there’s no crowd. We loved it. We stayed 6 nights which was just long enough NOT to get bored.

We had a wonderful stay at Kelapa resort! The property is beautiful and the staff is amazing! They were so kind and attentive. We loved being right on the beach The food and mocktails at the restaurant were delicious. Our room was spacious and we loved having our own private pool. If you are looking for a very relaxing beach vacation, you will love this resort!

Beautifully designed and the most beautiful setting you truly relax.
The staff are so wonderful and accomodating with so few rooms you feel as you’re the only couple .
Being remorse there’s not much to do other than relax take a walk a swim and enjoy the fine dinning

Unique out of the way resort (retreat) and spa. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy your own company, read, and relax under the coconut trees. Shut off from the outside world with no TVs in the rooms, but if you must, free wifi was available. Massage looking at the ocean was amazing!!

Absolutely incredible stay at the Resort. Everybody is so friendly and helpfull and we feal like home. The pools and beach are just beautiful.
We are sad to be leaving, but we will be back in the future for sure. Highly recommend you stay here, you won’t regret it at all.

Kelapa comes right up to a black sand beach, and the view from the pool is fantastic. The rooms are more than spacious, and if you have a villa with a private pool you will have a full size pool; not a plunge pool. It was the perfect escape to wind down and relax after spending the first part of our trip in the more busy and crowded areas of Bali. If you are looking for a slower pace and more space than the more touristy areas of Bali this is the place.

My stay at Kelapa was lovely. Staff is the sweetest, service is excellent, the resort in general is beautiful and well maintained. It is quite far from everything (3 hour drive from the airport, or to Ubud), but I was looking for a secluded and quiet and peaceful place, so it was just perfect. If you are looking for action and shopping, it is not the place. But the resort offers some nice options for excursions, which were great. The beach is nice, although difficult to swim in the ocean because the waves are quite strong, but I didn’t mind it. I had a garden pool villa, and loved my room. The pool was immense and well maintained, and although the room in general could use some refreshing, it was beautiful and very comfortable. The little attentions from the staff, such as the cookies every night, are much appreciated. I would definitely come back to Kelapa if I ever have the chance to travel to Bali again.

The Kelapa Retreat and Spa is a glorious oasis far from the bustling areas of Bali. It is truly gorgeous and it seems that all the rooms are amazing and unique. The views are amazing, the infinity pools very relaxing, the beach is gorgeous and it feels like it is private. The waves and current can be string but its super fun for boogey boarding. The food is outstanding and the bar makes an incredible array of drinks for all tastes. They have daily free activities and a beautiful spa. The resort also offers transportation and a selection of tours. I'd recommend waiting until you get to the resort to choose your day trips. We had a truly phenomenal time enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the place while also appreciating the culture and hospitality of Bali.

**Kelapa Retreat & Spa** is a true gem located in one of Bali's quieter areas, far from the island's overcrowded and noisy spots. The essence of this accommodation lies in its tranquil atmosphere, offering a peaceful retreat where one can escape the hustle and bustle of Bali’s more popular destinations. The staff here embodies the warmth and hospitality Bali is known for, with their always smiling faces and attentive service.
Communication is seamless, as everything from room service to laundry requests can be easily managed through WhatsApp, making your stay even more convenient. This was our second time returning to this serene haven, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking tranquility and a deeper connection with themselves rather than those looking for noise and excitement.
A small tip: be sure to use mosquito repellent, especially if you stay in the garden villa. While there were no issues indoors, it’s best to be prepared when enjoying the beautiful outdoor surroundings. Not a daily problem, but worth noting for comfort. We would also like to express our gratitude for the lovely gift we received upon our departure.

Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Personal.
Villa mit eigenem Pool ist für 2 Personen (vor allem Paare) sehr zu empfehlen.
Für einen Aufenthalt zum Entspannen und Abschalten ist Kelapa der perfekte Ort.

Vi bookede i god tid et ophold hos kelapa spa and retreat, hvor der på forhånd var blevet betalt. Vi ankommer til vores første hotel på Bali, og modtager 2 dage inden indtjekning på kelapa en underlig e-mail om, at vores reservation er blevet annulleret. Begrundelsen er dårlig Google oversæt lignede engelsk, og vi får ingen hjælp fra hotellet. Heldigvis hjælper hotels.com amerikanske kundeservice os, og de finder et nyt hotel til os. Det bliver lovet at kelapa vil stå for regningen her, da vores reservation er annulleret og vi ingen refundering har modtaget. Efter indtjekning finder vi ud af, at kelapa ikke har booket det nye hotel eller betalt det som aftalt. Vi kontakter igen hotels.com, som ender med at ordne det hele for os, da kelapa er fuldstændig umulig at samarbejde med.
Jeg ville derfor ALDRIG råde nogen at booke et ophold hos kelapa spa and retreat NOGENSINDE.

Palvelu hotellilla oli äärimmäisen ystävällistä. Henkilökunta kyseli usein kuulumisiamme ja opasti mielellään Balin nähtävyyksiä. Yleinen allasalue oli todella opea, varsinkin kun meri oli siinä vieressä, niin oli helppo käydä pulahtamassa meressä.

Amazing.. We went for honeymoon and it was heaven for us.. Staffs were so friendly specially kadat.. Big Infinity pool and resort so big u dont need to go elsewhere. Private beach was super clean and they offered bycicle free.. Me and my wife joined so many activities, romantic dinner, deep sea fishing with fisherman.. Everythingwas fabulous.
