I always stay here when in Merida. The location is ideal, right around the corner from the Plaza de Santa Ans and the Paseo de Montejo, with zillions of great restaurants 5-10 minutes walking in all directions. And the staff treats you like family.

I did enjoy my time at the hotel. It was clean and the staff were wonderful. My breakfast each day was very good and so was the coffee. My dissatisfaction came to the pool which was not inviting at all. The water did not seem very clean. One of the workers was taking a nap on 1 of the 3 lounge chairs. There was very little if any hot water to shower. I will say the murals were fabulous as was the architecture.

the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. the food was goodand the bar prices very reasonable If you are staying on a saterday night the hotel puts a fiesta on with dancers and other acts right outside and you can sit in the forecourt of the hotel and have a grat view. staff proffessional and very helpful and all speak english

The Boutique Casa San Angel is an absolutely stunning hotel! Our room was spotless and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. All spoke very good English so communication was not an issue. The hotel is at the south end of Paseo Montejo and we were able to easily walk to many restaurants, sights, etc. Highly recommended, thank you!

Excellent location, a bit dated but very clean. The info is misleading on the valet parking. You are handed a key before check in to open the garage and park yourself and have to do the same on the way out and then come back to return the key. A bit impractical. Maybe short staffed. Fit perfect for just one night rest.

The staff were wonderful the whole time we were there! The hotel itself is a beautiful atmosphere and just added to the experience of travelling there. Nice big room. Beautiful tile floors. Close and walking distance to clubs and restaurants. Friendly staff. Parking is a little hard to find. You have to get a key and open. I ended up parking parallel close to hotel but no issues.
