Tried this new place and I have to say I loved it! We come to Denver often and this will be our new spot. Check-in was super easy. The lobby area decor was elevated. The room was clean and loved the copper tub and full shower bath. Fireplace- comfy bed- and a hot bath was perfection for a night in Denver. We hope to come back again soon! The tshirts in lobby were a great gift for a friend back home and high quality. Staff was amazing and friendly!

There are hot drink free of charge avaliable all day plus when you arrive before 7 pm back to hotel proseco vine and visky is offered for those who drinks. Hotel's bar restaurant cowboy is also great menu staff atmosphere. Great location in the heart of Denver city. Free parking. If I ever travel again will stay in Urban Cowboy again.

Stylish, comfortable, and full of character

The hotel is amazing! It’s full of personality: quirky, unique, and still very luxurious. The room had everything I needed, with an incredibly comfy mattress and the coolest décor (loved the Pendleton sheets!). Also super clean which I appreciated as it's not always the case in older buildings. The bath was a lovely bonus, and the shampoo provided smelled so good! The location is also super convenient (walking distance to downtown). The house is located in the middle of buildings so you don't get the best view ever and it's a bit dark but part of the charm. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something stylish, comfortable, and full of character.

6/10 Good

We expected a quaint hotel and understood that it was a boutique building with renovations. The person who checked us in was delightful. The downsides were unexpected. We had no TV, nothing with drawers to store clothing, the shower provided only super hot or cold water. There was no housekeeping unless requested and the front desk was available from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Staff was friendly and accomodating. I loved the Pendleton robes and bedding. The text communications were very nice prior to check in and during the stay. Coffee in the bar area was nice. Other reviews mentioned street noise. I was on the third floor and when I made a point to listen for cars, I did notice. It would only be a problem for light sleepers.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband for a weekend getaway. We were impressed with the interior design and staff. Everyone was extremely accommodating and friendly. There’s a wine bar on the first floor and a restaurant next door. Great place and convenient location for exploring Denver downtown.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The main floor is like being transported back in time to a beautiful wealthy, classic Denver historic home. Warm and inviting and so much to look at and enjoy.. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and the clawfoot bathtub absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back. The hosts of this property are welcoming and make you feel like you’re at home, not a hotel.

The hotel was prime location, the host on arrival Annalise was absolutely delightful, wish she could have shared a welcome cheers. It felt homey and eclectic and the right kind of not the norm. I loved the parlor and the opportunity to meet other guests. Historical Informative and fun- it’s also bigger on the inside with I believe she said 16 rooms total. We had a blast and the saloon (bar) was also a great time pre-concert for us. The bartender was kind, knowledgeable but not snobby and made the best lemon drop I’ve had in years. Thank you for a fantastic weekend. This would be a great place to book with friends if you are headed to an event. I loved not having a tv in my room and the tub…is now on my wish list.

8/10 Very good

This was a unique hotel experience. It’s a clean hotel in a nice part of town within a mile of just about anything you could want to do. But it’s an old building, low privacy, low security room doors, no real room storage and no room safe. Just a rickety old drafty door and a key deadbolt. Yes a real key. No Headboard on the bed was the worst sleeping experience in a while. No elevator and narrow old stairs makes getting luggage in and out an adventure. Parking was poor as well. While I enjoyed my stay, this is not an experience I would ever repeat.

An outstanding place to spend a few nights if you: - want to be in the central part of Denver, walking distance to pretty much all attractions and eateries. - love historic hotels, meaning you are not looking for a huge TV or swimming pool, you are looking for a VIBE. - are a real bath aficionado: 6 feet copper bathtub is waiting for you in your room. Yes, there is a shower as well. Beautifully appointed rooms. Bath was marvelous. Location is great. Service is friendly. Bed is comfortable. AC/heat is very quiet. A lovely bar and a pizza place is next door. Please note: no elevator. Rooms are on the high second floor. I can't wait to come back!

Don’t miss out on this amazing boutique hotel. It is historically charming, has all the amenities you’re looking for, located in a perfect location. Urban Coyboy is a great vibe. The staff was great, attentive, knowledgeable, but respectful of privacy. The rooms were so comfortable. The claw foot, brass tubs were a perfect addition to the feel of the hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Nice stay

We had a nice three night stay. The one thing to keep in mind though, is that the building is really old and that’s cool, but the building creaks and makes weird tapping sounds all night long; add to that the street noise, it can be quite noisy. So that was not great, but the bed was comfortable and the AC unit kept us cool. Front desk staff are only there from 10 am to 6 pm. That wasn’t a problem for us though. And it should be known that everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful. Very welcoming and polite people. Parking- a few spaces for hotel guests but that isn’t enforced in any way so people that go to the restaurant and pub separate from the hotel obviously park in hotel guest spots. That was aggravating on a Saturday night when you have to park on the street and then the next morning you see spots available. Parking should be enforced. Your guests should come first. Issue a parking pass and tow people who aren’t hotel patrons. There is a drink station that has coffee, tea and water and some other things set up in the downstairs parlor bar area but you can’t have drinks there. Which seems like a big waste. We had a great stay but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Urban Cowboy Denver is just cool as hell. You walk in to a different era and you are greeted with a drink (I chose whiskey) - dark wood, leather, velvet - multiple parlors to read a book or just soak up the ambience. It’s stunning and cozy - day and night - and that’s just the downstairs! The rooms are a Pendleton dream, complete with robes! The towels are insanely soft and the bedding is plush, clean and cozy. And the TUBS! The rooms have copper bathtubs in them! I was such a treat to end each day with a soak in the copper tub, with a selection of various soaks to purchase. I recommend the serotonin soak. I really want to highlight the staff here - they want you to have an amazing stay, and they go above and beyond to ensure this. They’re so unbelievably kind and attentive which is honestly a revelation in this modern world of “who cares, we got your money” that I’ve experienced in other hotels. I travel to Denver frequently, and this is the only place I plan on staying in the future. This is truly an unforgettable getaway, in a convenient location close to a lot of cool stuff, I just can’t recommend Urban Cowboy enough.

Stayed for the tub!

So honestly the main reason I wanted stay here was for the tub!!! Loved the tub, but the layout of the room could be a bit better. There was no mirror over the bathroom sink which made getting ready hard. The price of the bath salts were a little higher than I expected so those stayed un-opened. Okay last thing…. Coffee availability downstairs, we were told there would be coffee but the gal that checked us in didn’t really give a time she just said in the morning lol. Also there really wasn’t a front desk person except when we checked in the first day, I never saw another person. Kind of spooky but I loved the place for what it was.
Ignore our getting packed clutter
The shower was nice too!
Cool little downstairs decor

Nicole and Annalise were excellent. When you talk about customer service they wrote the book. Beautiful facilities and the brass tubs are amazing. The beds and pillows are the best. The fixtures are all maintined above standards. My only regret.is that I was not staying longer. When I.am in Denver I will be staying at the Urban Cowboy.
