Lovely B&B in a great location
We've just stayed here for the weekend and it was lovely.
Carol was very welcoming and helpful and our room was well presented, very clean and had an amazing view (see pic).
We both chose a full English for breakfast and were pleased to see it came with fried bread! Again, Carol looked after us very well.
We walked into Hayfield on Saturday evening, which is a quaint little village. It took us 8-10 minutes, along the Sett trail which is maybe 1-2 minute walk from the B&B- so mostly off road.
Then on Sunday we walked eight miles- a lovely hilly route around Kinder reservoir (easy routes available too).
We would definitely go back, stay here again, and do some more exploring of the local area.

What great place! Carol, the owner, was very welcoming and served a good English breakfast. Lots of fresh milk available at all times and a well-stocked tea tray in the rooms.
Can't recommend highly enough and will certainly be back for a few days break later in the year.
Thank you Carol!

Lovely stay and suoerb breakfast
Had a lovely night's stay here whilst over to walk the Kinder Scout circular. Really lovely room, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, lots of choice super tasty (we had cereal, cooked breakfast, juice, tea/coffee and toast) and warm friendly hosts.
It is a lovely old building and there is a notice in the bathroom that the hot water takes quite a while to come through, which is fine, the water pressure could do with being higher as was very weak.
Overall superb stay and friendly, warm hosts and great location for access to Mam Tor and Kinder Scout (with car).
