I loved everything about this hotel. The property, the staff, the view, the room. I would highly recommend staying here. We stayed 7 nights to attend my daughter's wedding. The room was adorable, clean, comfortable, and had a view to die for. The bathroom was very spacious. The property is spectacular with flowers everywhere, clean, well maintained, and peaceful. We ventured out for wedding activities and a bit of shopping but stayed at the hotel most of the trip because it was so enjoyable. We had massages, excellent. We played cards on the patio at the bar, excellent service. The front desk assisted us every day with taxis, water, a fan, toiletries if we missed housecleaning. Whatever we requested, they accommodated; superb customer service. I worked with them from the States before our arrival and they arranged for a car to greet us at the airport and bring us to the hotel upon arrival. My daughter tried to talk us into changing to another hotel closer to City Center and I am so thankful that we did not. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mulino di Firenze.

Great room with a lovely view. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, as was the service in all areas of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The features in the hotel which showed aspects of its past and the location by the river and weir were ideal. Lovely pool area with towels provided too. We had to wait a while to check in though as there was only one person on the desk and the couple in front had a problem which needed to be resolved.

The hotel staff was outstanding! We just had one big disappointment. We booked this hotel because it listed a shuttle to the city center. We didn’t learn until after we booked and couldn’t get a refund that the shuttle service wasn’t starting until April 1, 2026. As a result we spent a lot of money on transportation to and from the hotel which we hadn’t planned on. The food at the hotel is excellent! The staff so accomodating and helpful! The only reason we gave one less star on cleanliness is that we had an ant problem in our bathroom. When we called they came right away and vacuumed up the ants but they were active outside and trying to get back in so we plugged the hole ourselves.
