Staff was rude. Threatened to throw my dogs out before they even arrived. Room was messy and a lot junkier than pictured. Lots of shady men staying at the hotel. Not a great place for a family with a 5 year old girl. The “waterpark” was filthy. The pools had a slimy film floating on top of them.

We had a deluxe queen room with a lake view and the view was gorgeous. The location was fantastic. It was a very simple room, but the view was what did it!

Place is old and not updated, but it is very clean and in decent condition. We just stayed overnight on our way to Houghton and it worked for us. Everything is close, beach is steps away, just not a modern hotel. Parking is cringy for large vehicles. Beds were comfortable.
