The hotel and the rooms were awesome. Very clean and well appointed. The pool and the pool bar were great. The beach experience was a negative experience. They changed €45 for two chairs and an umbrella. The service was horrible. The waiters on the beach never checked on us and the acted offended when we walked up to the bar for service. Awful, don’t waste your time on the beach area. Otherwise, the stay was excellent.

Our experience at this hotel was a huge disappointment. We paid a ridiculously high amount for what was supposed to be two nights of five star luxury to end our holiday, but found there was nothing five star or luxury about it. On a positive note, dinner in the restaurant was good, and reasonably priced. Almost all the staff we encountered were super, and very helpful, including booking us a taxi to take us to be airport on our final morning. The exception was at breakfast where we heard staff being rude to other guests, and one morning after giving our room number at the entrance and heading out to the terrace to sit, we had someone storm out after us demanding our room number again. The food at breakfast was varied but not great quality and no allergens were listed (and it was difficult to find anybody to ask). Everything was tired and dated, from the room to the pool area. Our non-smoking room was at the end of a corridor of smoking rooms meaning we had to walk through a cloud of smoke each time. There was only instant coffee sachets in the room. The towels were worn and threadbare. The soundproofing between rooms was non-existent. On our first night the hotel was accommodating several people from a cancelled flight which probably added to the overall chaotic atmosphere. Everything about the hotel reminded us of a corporate conference venue in the UK, that just happened to have a nice sea view.

I had a pleasant stay overall and would give this hotel 4 stars. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to the housekeeping lady, who did an excellent job every day, and to Petro at the pool. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and really made our stay more enjoyable. The main reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the bathroom. Both the shower and the sink were clogged. The shower drained so slowly that it would fill up and feel like taking a bath while showering. Also, although the room was clean, the flooring and the colors and materials used in the bathroom made it look less clean than it actually was. Overall, we had a good experience thanks to the wonderful staff, and with a few maintenance improvements, this hotel could easily earn 5 stars.
