Those traveling with pets beware, this was my experience:
I stayed at the hotel from Thursday, September 22 to Sunday, September 25. A friend and I were there with two dogs for a local dog show.
We were hardly at the hotel and incredibly respectful of the room.
When we checked an incredibly rude front desk employee came up to "inspect" our room after our stay, she was very rude and ripped apart our room as if she was looking for a problem... Towels were placed in the tub, and garbage was in the bins, as was recycling.
The room was clean, there was nothing missing, the dogs were never on the bed (we put the "woof" mats over the beds in case they rubbed on them), and they slept in their crates.
The employee took apart one of the beds that were slept in all weekend and there was one small (smaller than a pinkie nail) spot of blood on the comforter, but nothing on the sheets the comforter was between the sheets, it could have been there the entire time. She was super rude to me about it, trying to blame our dogs that were never on the beds.
As far as I am aware bedding is washed between guests, and this is a standard practice especially due to COVID-1, however, I was charged $75 to wash a duvet.
Now if bedding is washed between all stays I do not see how I am responsible for paying to wash this one... If this is the case it makes me wonder if bedding in fact washed between guests. I had to complain in order to have the charge refunded.
