We stayed for one night. Even though it was a short stay, the hotel made a very positive impression.
The property is impressive, its appearance, decoration and welcoming atmosphere were noticeable. Car parking is easy and adjacent to hotel.
Staff are friendly and helpful. They are very courteous and treat you as a welcome guest.

Very quiet, nice grounds, ample parking, good range of drinks from the bar, good selections (for us) on the menus, all in all a welcoming, comforting experience.

The stand out feature is the restaurant. We had the most incredible meal for dinner, truly exquisite! The bar was also lovely to lounge in.
The hotel room itself was adequate, but would have befitted from a larger, and smart, TV to have enjoyed some wind down time, as well as a larger shower (it was very small in a very large bathroom).

We liked the comfort level, the privacy, the decorating style, and helpful restaurant staff .
We also liked the idea of supporting small business by bank transfer payments, but you did not sufficiently advise of pre notification requirements, and so we were thwarted.
