A quiet, comfortable, tranquil place to stay in Franschhoek with all required amenities. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed being able to walk around the town easily from the hotel. Many dining options within an easy walk.

Really great hotel. Good location off the noise of the main road, yet within walking distance of all Franschhoek has to offer. We had a pool suite and definitely worth the extra bit for the luxury. Everything you need for a wonderful stay is in your room or available at the hotel.

This is a fantastic boutique hotel in a great location. The breakfast was delicious and varied, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room 15 is amazing with huge corner double aspect windows and beautiful views of the hills.

Beautiful and homey
There was a mixup with the room that we had booked but the staff was great and super helpful. Once we got it sorted we had a beautiful room. Honestly it feels like being at home, a very beautiful home. Can’t recommend it enough!

Amazing stay at the best boutique hotel out there
Had the most amazing stay at Chapter House for our honeymoon - the team were incredible hosts, and Byron in particular made my wife and I feel perfectly at home and couldn’t have done more to make our stay as special as it was - thank you so much! The hotel itself is beautiful and cosy, charming rooms, less than 5 minute walk from the centre of town and a lovely breakfast. Highly highly recommend to anyone and everyone - please go!

A lovely boutique hotel, down a quiet side street but close to the main road, with great staff. Max greeted us on arrival and was always checking to make sure we were happy. He also gave an excellent recommendation for dinner.
Our room was a good size and the bathroom was supplied with spa products which were very nice and available to buy.
Free coffee was always available and supplemented by cake of the day in the afternoon.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on offer.

Oasis in Franschhoek
Gorgeous little oasis in Franschhoek. Staff were very eager to please and the new wing where we stayed was well appointed. Minor points for improvement: coffee machine had very bright lights which came on when power came back on in the middle of the night - couldn't figure out how to turn them off so threw a towel over it! Staff may benefit from a little education about drinks in the bar and the absence of tonic to go with the wide selections of gin was a bit disappointing. It was very cold during our stay - the single spare blanket was insufficient as there is no heating when the power is out. But these are all comparatively minor points and the overall atmosphere, ambience and attention to detail were all excellent.
