We had a fantastic stay at the chapter house. All facilities were in great condition and we were positively surprised to find out that they even had a spa and fireplace. Staff were super attentive and friendly at all times and the manager even offered us an upgrade to a better room with an in-room fireplace. The location of the chapter house is only two minutes away from the Main Street in franschoeck so stores and restaurants are only a short walk away which is extremely convenient. Looking forward to stay at the chapter house again next time I’m around

Really great hotel. Good location off the noise of the main road, yet within walking distance of all Franschhoek has to offer. We had a pool suite and definitely worth the extra bit for the luxury. Everything you need for a wonderful stay is in your room or available at the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Chapter House. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Main Street with plenty of great food options nearby. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a lovely way to start the day. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when the wine tram was fully booked. They took the time to explain our options, which we really appreciated. We opted for the tuk tuk instead and would highly recommend it. It was great fun, picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel, and was even cheaper than the tram.

Beautiful and homey

There was a mixup with the room that we had booked but the staff was great and super helpful. Once we got it sorted we had a beautiful room. Honestly it feels like being at home, a very beautiful home. Can’t recommend it enough!

A lovely boutique hotel, down a quiet side street but close to the main road, with great staff. Max greeted us on arrival and was always checking to make sure we were happy. He also gave an excellent recommendation for dinner. Our room was a good size and the bathroom was supplied with spa products which were very nice and available to buy. Free coffee was always available and supplemented by cake of the day in the afternoon. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on offer.
