All in all just a very nice hotel! Beautifully decorated and rooms clean and nice. We asked or two single duvets instead of the double one that was on our bed upon arrival and we immediately got it. Breakfast was nice with many options. We will use this hotel when we travel to Budapest next time.

The hotel was fabulous, the staff were great and very accommodating. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. I have stayed at the hotel on previous occasions and have never been disappointed. The location was fabulous very close to the ruin bars. I had a minor problem with the room but 5his was quickly resolved by the lovely reception staff.

We stayed at the Continental Hotel Budapest for 4 nights during the World Ultimate Athletics Championships. From arrival to departure, the experience was consistently excellent. Staff assisted with our luggage on entry, managed an efficient check-in, and offered welcome messages along with thoughtful local advice that went beyond standard tourist information and the normal expectation of hotel staff. The breakfast, gym, pool, and restaurant all met a high standard of quality and service. The hotel is also a convenient base for exploring Budapest’s main sights, with reasonable walking distances and straightforward access to public transport. Our experience here was truly excellent and we’d not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks. All the staff here made this stay a trip to remember.

It’s an outdated hotel that looks much better in the pictures than in reality. Room was clean but very outdated. I understand it’s a historic area but with the price paid, a renovation of the rooms is past due. Location is decent, walkable to many restaurants, bars and some attractions. I wouldn’t mind staying here again but would choose a newer hotel next time around considering the price you are paying here. Also would choose a hotel that’s a little bit more north than this hotel to be closer to attractions.
