An outstanding well-located boutique hotel with superb service. If you have a stay in Tartu then this place is highly recommended. Many of the museums and parks are nearby, as well as restaurants, bars and cafes. Our room was large and airy with a view towards the historuc main building of Tartu University.

I stayed in six different hotel during this trip in five countries and this was by far the nicest hotel. My room was absolutely fabulous - decorated beautifully and the bathroom was huge. The toiletries provided were of a high quality. All the reception staff I spoke to were extremely helpful, friendly and certainly an asset to the hotel. I really enjoyed my breakfast, which was included in the price. The omelette was probably the fluffiest I have ever had. Unfortunately I only stayed in Tartu for one night and as soon as I walked into the room I regretted this ! The hotel is less than a 20 minute walk from the train station. It’s opposite a beautiful building which is part of the university and the main square is just around the corner. You really cannot pick a better hotel for a visit to Tartu. I certainly hope and plan to visit again.

Hotel Antonius is in Tartu’s very much older part of town, right across the street from one of the university’s main buildings, which houses the university’s art gallery…..and it’s worth a visit. The hotel is excellent. Outstanding staff at every level of guest interaction. An excellent restaurant and the hotel’s breakfast is everything you could ask for.

Antonius is truly remarkable and very unique for Tartu. The decorations remind one those more of a castle or manor rather than a hotel. The suite is spacious, beautifully furnished, very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast is served as a mix of buffet and à la carte. By far my favourite hotel in Tartu!

Very central place. The house with long history. Everything started with good service in reception. Car parking (with pay) in front of the main door. Good bed. Bathroom was fantastic.
