Amazing hotel & perfectly located. I had the cheapest room and it was fantastic, the room is bigger than it looks on the picture. The breakfast was delicious, a lot of self made stuff. The parking is very close. Definitely recommeded!

We absolutely loved our stay here. While it was a little early in the season to enjoy the pool, everything about this place was top notch. The location is in the heart of the old town, staff arranged for free parking a short walk away and their laundry service was very affordable a quick. The breakfasts were one of the highlights for myself!

Beautiful quaint hotel. Very clean and great location. Very accommodating. We were going to leave before breakfast was going to be served and they brought us pastries and bread the night before so we would have something. I wish we had stayed longer.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast. The room is beautiful and big, clean. Your car must park at 5 minutes away, But your parking fee will be waved with hotel help. Make sure ask hotel where to park before arriving.

This was a very charming hotel with nice patio. The room was clean and very comfortable, the staff was very nice. We parked our vehicle at the public parking lot, which was only few minutes to the hotel and the parking was paid by the hotel. We only booked for only one night... we wish we were staying there longer.

Loved this property and hope to return.
Penelope on reception is a delight and chats with her were a highlight of my stay.
Note, no sun loungers by the small pool which was disappointing.
Breakfast was great and the team were accommodating with the need to have breakfast a little earlier due to a tour.

Very walkable location, close to shopping and dining. New and clean rooms. Parking is a 5 minute walk from hotel and unfortunately you need to carry your luggage for the 5 minute walk. Parking on Wednesday night and Thursday is more complicated because the parking area is used for a market on Thursdays. If you are ok with the parking, it is a good lodging option.

Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Rethymno. We stayed in the loggia suite (one bed plus a living room with sofa bed, two bathrooms). Very tastefully decorated, great bathroom(s) really good powerful shower and the property felt well maintained and cared for. Very good complimentary breakfast.
The only negatives or points for improvement (these seem rather nit picky):
1. The bathroom had an amazing shower and a fancy weighing scale (who would want that with all the great food so close by?!) yet had one of those horrible hotel hairdryers that you have to hold down the button to keep it switched on making it hard to style hair. Felt that this was a disappointment given the spec of the room.
2. Parking is free in the four martyrs car park -but you're not guaranteed a space. We arrived in Rethymno at 1pm on a Monday, wanting to have lunch and visit the town a bit before checking in. We were very lucky to get a space (and almost gave up)! It would be nice if the hotel could work an arrangement with the car park to reserve spaces for guests - especially since the hotel contacted us in advance re parking etc and this is the closest car park to the hotel for transporting luggage. I would be willing to pay a nominal fee of 10 euros to have a guaranteed space for 24 hrs / be able to come and go to visit the surrounding countryside.
3. Breakfast was great yet the fruit juice was very watery - again more of a let down based on how good everything else was!

Has potential, but hassle factor outweighed pluses
Upon arrival, I was informed that my credit card had been declined twice by Expedia when they tried to bill me; however, I booked this stay on Hotels.com months ago and paid off the bill in its entirety, so all that should have been owed was €7 for local tax, which I happily offered to pay. I felt as though I was being accused of something even after I pulled out proof of payment and the Hotels.com receipt. Not a great start to our stay.
We also happened to book for a Thursday night, and there is a flea market on Thursdays that makes it virtually impossible to park where we were instructed for several hours after check-in time. This would have been nice to know! We kept being told that eventually space would open up in the designated lot, but five hours later still no space so we had to leave our car in a less secure place and carry our bags a very long distance.
The place itself was nice and had good access to Old Town restaurants and shopping. The layout of the room was a bit strange, with the shower in the entryway of the apartment, providing little privacy without planning for others to stay put until each shower was completed.

Tres charmant hôtel bien situé au cœur de la ville. Notre chambre n’était pas très propre (cheveux dans la salle de bain, mégots de cigarettes dans un cendrier sur la terrasse) et le ménage n’a pas été fait correctement (tasse sale laissée sur le comptoir et dosettes de café non remplacées).
Accueil très chaleureux et le petit déjeuner est satisfaisant.

Sehr schönes, modernes und geschmackvolles Boutique Hotel in bester Lage mitten in der Altstadt mit zahlreichen Shops, Bars und Restaurants in direkter Umgebung. Die Einrichtung und Raumgestaltung des Hotels sind sehr ansprechend. Allerdings stimmen die Fotos nicht mit der Realität überein. Es gibt keine lichtdurchfluteten Zimmer. Im Gegenteil, außer um den kleinen Poolbereich ist es eher dunkel, da es wenig Möglichkeiten für Tageslicht gibt. Man lebt eher wie in einer Höhle. Das muss man mögen.
