If you want to define the word perfection, you have to include Home Hotel Folketeateret. The hotel is located in the city centre. The train station and the subway station are very close to the hotel. Shops are also nearby. The breakfast is devine. The staff is kind and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. When you visit Oslo, the decision where to stay is very easy. Very quiet, convenient hotel, close to Central station, Opera and Munch museum and the central area. Their included breakfast was fantastic, with many options. (They also offer Fika and dinner though we were never around for the Fika so can't comment). The dinner was ok (we only tried it once), a great deal if you're trying to save money and just want to be fed. We opted to eat out because it's part of the fun of a vacation! Coffee machine available by the front desk. Buses and rail go right in front of the hotel. Rooms were a decent size. Recommend.

Location - perfect centre of town . Close to central station.walkable to everywhere But when you come out of the hotel only turn to right Left side we found some antisocial people We felt uncomfortable Transport- tram , bus, trains are easily accessible easy to go anywhere Staffs- so helpful Shopping-the hotel is in middle of shopping malls Meals -excellent breakfast To our surprise we got dinner on the house thank you Reasonable hot meals for dinners They packed our breakfast for early checked out Ample access to coffee and drinks in lobby room restaurant breakfast Cleanliness- it was spacious and clean Only criticism would be slightly dusty in the room which made me sneezing all the time Overall we loved staying there Will recommend And will stay again

Overall a good hotel, but very noisy. Dinner could have been better with most options gone by the time I got up to the lounge, but breakfast was great. There was an issue after check-in with the batteries in my door lock being dead and my key card not working and the front desk agent had to manually unlock it for me. At first, the front desk agent asked if I was just going to stay in my room the whole time so that it wouldn’t have to be fixed, but then she eventually was able to move me to a different room.

Breakfast makes this place worth it. Rooms are small, smaller than I've had at comparable prices in Oslo. Room was dated, plumbing was slow. Bed was comfortable. Lobby was comfortable and welcoming. The dinner was a nice backup plan for nights when I had no other ideas, and the food was always good. Staff was courteous.

Room location was awful, right on the street. So loud till 4 AM. Also the thermostat had a bright blue light that shine right towards the bed, very poor placement making it difficult to sleep. Also, our phone blinked bright orange light all night long. None of us got any sleep the whole night. For this reason alone, I would not recommend this hotel. I will say, however, the hotel was very nice and the staff was lovely. The breakfast was great.

Great staff. One in particular, think his name was Dag, very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about the area and also Allan who checked us in. The room was large, comfortable bed and lovely large bathroom with food walk in shower. Breakfast was great, everything you can think of was out and also having afternoon cake a coffee was a real money saver. The dinner in the evening is served upstairs and is made up of a tasty soup, salads and a meat option like meatballs, pork stew - it's buffet style and was a bonus being complimentary, no complaints from us. Location is very good and short walk to most places including the main railway station. The trams stopped right outside and we used them for getting to Vigeland park and other places a little further afield. Check out quick and easy. No complaints from us, we'd stay here again. Thank you.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the central station. It's a quirky hotel located as part of a live theater complex. The rooms are styled nicely. The biggest perk of the hotel is the breakfast buffet. It is amazing. It was included in our rate along with an evening meal.
