6/10 Good

Lovely venue, location, etc but expensive, staff great all good, but for the price of the venue I would have expected better quality food, and that wasn’t up to the price bracket of the room. I am being picky YES my only other picky issue was the king size bed which was 2 mattresses and the join down the middle was uncomfortable enough to wake me up to move on more than one occasion. Otherwise great place, location etc

Friendly staff, very comfy bed, great decor in keeping with it's image. Particularly likes the courtesy light in the bathroom to help find your way during night time visits!!

An all round good value for money hotel. A hotel with bags of character, large and spacious rooms and all cleanly presented. We would definitely choose to stay there again when we’re looking for accommodation in the area.

The room was excellent 👌 lovely and warm! Furnishings were delightful. Bathroom was lovely with both bath and shower. Food was lovely for both of the evenings that we stayed with lots of choices. Beer on tap in the bar was excellent especially if you're a badgers brewery fan which I am.

Lovely hotel with great restaurant and breakfast. Good service, easy parking just outside and great value.

10/10 Exceptional

Lovely hotel though frustratingly nowhere to put your wash bag in the bathrooms or to sit in front a mirror to do your hair (so many hotels guilty of this). Staff are really great. We had a problem that was immediately resolved.

Parking is free and unlimited and opposite the hotel.. unusual in that the hotel is above a pub/reataurant.. There is a lift to all floors and AC in the room. Old fashioned key for the room door, which needs to be locked on exit Tea and coffee making with biscuits in the room and a good shower with a detachable head
